Cats are often depicted in ancient Egyptian art and artifacts. The Egyptians actually worshiped cats as gods, and believed that they took on a spiritual importance. They were considered to be a sacred animals with magical powers.
Ancient Egypt was said to be one of the most advanced civilizations in human history, capable of architecture, that by today’s standards would be difficult, if not impossible to construct. But, did they also possess otherworldly knowledge that has been forgotten?
Some myths and folklore also claim that cats can walk in and out of the spirit world with great ease and at will. Intuition, Psychic Ability And Mediumship
Throughout time mankind has explored the ability to communicate with the gods, with nature, or with each other on a non-verbal level. It is extremely common for us to use the term intuitive. these days. It is often the explanation given by many an entrepreneur or successful decision-maker: “I just trusted my gut,” or “What I love about Mary is she is just so intuitive and makes the right decisions.”
The term psychic on the other hand, although nowadays often well known within a household, conjures up for so many outside the metaphysical community feelings of distrust, fake, absurd, not possible. Perhaps these attributes are attached because of our personal belief system that does not value or agree with the skill set. This also can impact our personal relationships if we know it is real and others judge us since we may then hide our abilities as being psychic and connected with the unseen realm or worse shut down and not continue developing them. Every parent thinks their child is special and gifted. In fact, all children are born with some degree of psychic ability, and some keep it throughout their lives. How can we tell, and what is the best course of action, when we find a psychic child in our midst?
The main reason people lose psychic ability as they age is because of some grown-up or authority figure dismissing these very real gifts as their imagination or ‘make-believe.’ Children don’t know what is real or not, and when they are blessed with psychic gifts, they will believe… even if you don’t.

Ghosts On The Coast Of Maine
Whenever I do a house party on the coast of Maine, the first question most of the guests ask me is, “Do you feel or see anyone around me?” Or, “Do you see or sense spirit in any of the rooms or around the house?”
Well, to be very honest I have never been in any home or dwelling that did not have any spirit in residence. They typically hang around a house because they used to live in it, or at some time in the past they were on that property for some reason.
When I am asked to check in, to see who may be in residence, spirit will speak to me in my head, or show themselves. They also like to move objects. Why? Because they can. Ever felt a reassuring hand on your shoulder, heard your name whispered, or experienced a deep sense of love and warmth, only to turn around and see no one? That’s unmistakably the sign that an angel is nearby. Our protective angels let us know they are there… if we take the time to look.
Our angelic guardians, who see all the things we do not, want us to notice the beauty around us! Take a moment away from work, put away the electronic devices, and really observe…there is so much you probably never saw before.
One of the first and most obvious places to look is the skies. Clouds, to be specific. Finding shapes like wings, hearts, or halos in the otherwise random cloud formations is a sure sign of angelic presence. Animal shapes might appear too – some angels walk on four legs! Continue reading
It’s All Up In The Air…
Many years ago, when my husband and I were just a young couple with two lovely little daughters, we lived in the beautiful province of Quebec, Canada. Around about this same time his parents resided on an army base in the province of Ontario, which was a five hour drive from where our home was located. Every few months or so we would load up the girls in the car and set off for a weekend visit to the in-laws.
One particular Sunday, at the end of another visit, we embarked on the usual five hour trek back home. It was a very pleasant day, the sun was trying to make its presence known and the traffic, as luck would have it, was just moderate. That’s what life sometimes feels like to a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) – a designation coined by psychologist Dr. Elaine Aron, which indicates someone whose senses are more attuned than normal to the stimuli around them. The word “empath” is sometimes used to describe highly sensitive people, and other groups, such as those on the autism spectrum.
