Facing Our Shame Leads To Spiritual Growth
I was recently reminded of a hasty set of predictions I made a decade ago for a former colleague, when I had just started my psychic career. At the time, his wife was pregnant with twins, and I foolishly attempted to forecast when, where and how they would be born. Some of my predictions panned out, while some didn’t. At least I correctly predicted they would be born under the sign of Leo!
Looking back on it, I realize I was overly giddy in wanting to share my impressions with him. I certainly overstepped boundaries as a developing psychic, when I chose to impulsively send my predictions to him by email, without him asking for it. This kind of unsolicited psychic advice is seldom a good idea.
In those early days, I wrongly assumed it was the right thing for me to do. I presumed it my duty as a psychic to share whatever I perceived. Not only did I later regret sending that unwelcome email, but I also felt very embarrassed and ashamed. It also shook my fragile ego at the time.
Today, I see it very differently. That hasty email has since served as a valuable lesson in humility, patience, and vulnerability. In fact, it made me a better psychic. These days, I am much more measured and circumspect in my approach, and I no longer feel pressured to share absolutely everything that comes to mind, especially not if it is uninvited.
We all make foolish mistakes sometimes, but we live and learn. This is, after all, what our life journey as a spiritual being in human form is all about. Sometimes my clients say things like, “I shouldn’t have said that,” or “I wish I had never done that.” I then gently remind them there’s never a black-and-white line in the sand that, once you have crossed it, you’ve forever made yourself a ‘loser’ or a ‘fool.’
Astrology Forecast June 12 – 18, 2023
Our creativity soars this week, as we thrive under the inspirational energies of the Gemini Sun to revamp our outlook and surroundings.
Today and tomorrow we’ll also be brainstorming for new ideas under the Aries Moon, and by Wednesday, when the Moon moves into Taurus, we’ll be able to take action on the things we want to change on a physical level.
The week starts off strongly this morning with the Aries Moon trine Mars in Leo. This aspect is known for determination, courage, resourcefulness, and lots of practical action. If you are not working today, this morning is also great for some quality ‘me’ time doing the things you love most.
Whether you are ready to take on a home remodeling project, bring your wardrobe up to date or go for a completely new look, or launch a new spiritual practice to enhance your soul growth, this is the time to bring those to life!
Tuesday afternoon a Aries Moon square with Pluto in Capricorn may however cause some trouble. This transit is notorious for causing irritablity, emotional outbursts, and agressive behavior. Disagreements regarding business or family finances are more likely and we may be more prone to lashing out. Find and keep your inner peace, as the unnecessary drama will not be worth it.
The Gemini New Moon on Saturday heralds a two-week cycle of new beginnings, so the preparations we make this week will quickly move us forward into enhanced levels of being. We can pause for a moment on Sunday as the Moon moves into Cancer, focusing on family, home, and the things that bring us comfort.

Make the most of today’s perfect astrological storm to make some great things happen!
The week starts out on a high note with an eager Gemini Sun combining forces with a diligent Capricorn Moon, today and tomorrow. This aspect stimulates boundless productivity, creativity, and networking to kickstart the week.
Venus moving into Leo today casts an additional dramatic flair to our activities and pursuits, while the positive vibes of a Capricorn Moon trine with Jupiter in Taurus seals the deal this morning by creating powerful potential for financial success and social popularity.
The Capricorn Moon sextile with Saturn in Pisces rounds off the day this afternoon with a heightened sense of responsibility and increased organizational focus. A good time to have that business meeting to set targets for the rest of the week.
Social activities will continue to call to us on Wednesday and Thursday under a friendly, inspired Aquarius Moon.
As the week comes to an end we can embrace the free-flowing energy of a Pisces Moon, stepping back to admire all we’ve accomplished, or simply going within to reconnect with our spiritual self.
Don’t get too comfy though, as the Moon will move into Aries, and Mercury will enter Gemini on Sunday, encouraging our adventurous sides to try something new, expand our circle of friends, and flex our communication skills for the next three weeks.
Changing Palm Lines Reflect Your Spiritual Progress
Some years ago, I had a palm reading with a lady who lives nearby. Palmistry is not one of my specialties, but I did find the experience interesting and learned much from what she told me.
She focused on my line of fate, also known as the line of Saturn. It is a crease in the center of the palm that often intersects the head and heart lines and runs close to the life line.
In its formation she identified a future time in my life when I’d be traversing a lot of difficulty. This later proved to be true, but I have since managed to successfully overcome those challenges and my life is now so much better.
Interestingly, I recently discovered that my fate line has shifted since then. Instead of shooting straight up, as it did when this lady read for me, it now leans further to the right, towards my heart line.
Doing some further research on the matter, I discovered that our palm lines do shift for over time. I believe this may be the result of our personal growth and spiritual evolution.
This lesser-known phenomenon in palmistry is in alignment with most other forms of divination and psychic channeling. Instead of accepting a foregone, sometimes even grim fate in any reading or forecasting, we are constantly changing, growing, and evolving in mind, body and soul. In time, subtle changes in our palm lines should therefore increasingly reflect this.
I believe my Saturn line has meanwhile sloped towards my heart line because I now do the work I truly love, helping people daily with the guidance of spirit. Back then, when I received the palm reading, I was still doing psychic readings part-time, while working full-time in healthcare. That changed two years later, when I went into full-time spiritual work.
Astrology Forecast May 29 – June 4, 2023
Joyful harmony is the theme at the start of this week, as the Moon glides through Libra today and tomorrow.
A Libra Moon tends to create an effervescent, affectionate mood. Today is a good day to make new friends, and romantically whisper sweet nothings to that someone special. Also, the Libra Moon sextile with Mars in Leo offers the perfect opportunity this evening to spend some quality time with your beloved.
However, be sure to keep your cool Wednesday morning when the Libra Moon squares with Venus in Cancer, as disagreements and arguments are more likely, especially with the women in your life.
The remainder of the week unfolds under a more intense, ambitious Scorpio Moon. Focus, drive, and progress will be the dominant themes Wednesday through Friday. By harnessing this determined energy boost we are likely to get twice as much accomplished as we had planned.
The Moon waxes full in Sagittarius on Saturday, which could bring surprising people into your midst. This Full Moon could have us crossing paths with exes, people we went to grade school with, or even strangers with whom we share a past life connection.
If someone comes up in your thoughts out of the blue, do a search on social media to see if you can find them (assuming you want to find them.) But be careful if an ex shows up this weekend, asking for a second chance. Your answer should be a decisive no, but do relish in the ego trip of knowing they finally realize your worth!
Finally, if you’re still flying solo, this is a great weekend to venture out to the social scenes or check out dating sites. Swipe left? Swipe right? Take a chance, as anything is possible under this lovely Sagittarius Full Moon!
There Is More To Astrology Than Horoscopes!
Astrology is an ancient, complex metaphysical tradition that originated over 4000 years ago in Mesopotamia. Yes, indeed! Old Babylonia was its birthplace, not Harry Potter’s Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Neither was it concocted by an enterprising editor of some trendy newspaper or magazine.
Actually, the first horoscope in the modern press is credited to the British astrologer Richard Harold Naylor who wrote a horoscope for the newly born Princess Margaret, titled What The Stars Foretell For The New Princess. It was published three days after her birth on August 24, 1930 in the Sunday Express weekly newspaper. It was so popular with readers that he was asked to write more horoscopes for the publication.
The sun sign astrology we see in modern day horoscopes was not originally intended for the individual, but it has become a useful gateway to entice people into a deeper exploration of astrology. Nothing wrong with a little ‘cheese for the mice,’ as long as we bear in mind that true astrology does not exclusively revolve around our birth sun sign.
Our sun sign is only one letter of the astrological alphabet, albeit a highly significant letter. The other planets in our natal chart do view our sun as the center of things, but the cosmos and our individual lives contain so much more.
The layered complexity of a nativity, a client’s individual birth story crystallized in an exact moment of time and place, is a story as rich as the history that birthed it. Ancient Babylonia carried the first seeds of the western, tropical system of astrology that many of us practice today.

Alright, alright, alright!” isn’t just a famous line from the teen movie Dazed and Confused (1993), it is also an appropriate theme for this week’s cool cosmic vibes and easy-going energies.
With the most impactful planetary shifts for the month completed, we can proceed this week with calm, confidence and grace – even if we may not be entirely sure where we’re headed yet. Treating each day as a new adventure and being open to whatever happens is definitely the way to cruise through the coming week.
A Cancer Moon casts a calm, if somewhat ethereal atmosphere today and tomorrow. We may not get much done, but it will not be a waste of time as our focus will be on the goodness of interpersonal relationships, creature comforts, and taking things easy.
The Cancer Moon trine with Saturn in Pisces around midday, followed by a sextile with Mercury in Taurus this afternoon, offers a perfect opportunity for presenting a sales pitch, doing marketing, or having a business meeting. Making a good social impression, effective communication, closing deals and sound financial descisions will all be easier than usual.
The Moon travels through Leo on Wednesday through Friday, encouraging us to focus on ourselves and our self-care needs. Of course, we should remain available if someone needs our help, but for the most part, being selfish is not a liability under the Leo Moon.
After a week of ‘just being,’ the Virgo Moon will bring us back to reality on Saturday and Sunday.
