Happy Samhain and Halloween! This final week of October culminating in the sacred Celtic holiday should run quite smoothly. A Gemini Moon today, followed by tomorrow and Wednesday’s Cancer Moon, will put us in the mood to embrace the spiritual tones of the season.
Two favorable aspects join forces today to inspire personal power and achievement in our lives. The Gemini Moon trine Mars in Libra will boost our willpower and resourcefulness to get some practical things done, while the Gemini Moon trine Jupiter in Aquarius will have us feeling positive, optimistic and popular.
We often present different facades and keep up appearance for the different people in our lives and this is a great time to examine why we do this and how well it is working for us. There will be an energy in the air this week to express ourselves more authentically or to show more of our true nature to the world, especially as the Moon travels through Leo on Thursday and Friday.
There’s a tendency to overthink things as the Moon moves through Virgo on Saturday and Sunday, so try to avoid those mental gymnastics and be sure to watch for critical thinking or high idealism, as these two mental activities can only get you into hot water this weekend!

We initially could find ourselves more interested in socializing than working today, as the Moon moves through Sagittarius, but later in the day it transits into Capricorn to inspire us to be more productive for the next three days. A Capricorn Moon tends to make us feel more serious and determined and we tend to be more focused and able to concentrate.
Ideally, you may want to tackle as much as you can by Wednesday, as things will start to go somewhat sideways when the Moon moves into Aquarius on Thursday. We can pretty much write off the rest of the workweek after that, as constant interruptions, unexpected work, and a sudden shift in direction are all aspects of this Aquarian Moon. Mercury being in retrograde for another week will not make things any easier either!
Friday promises to be a happy and harmonious day with the Sun in Libra trine Moon in Aquarius. This aspect is also known for a sense of vitality, health and well-being, so make the most of it with an early morning walk or run, and a healthy breakfast. If you have the day off, you might even consider a visit to the spa.
Mercury in Libra sextile Venus in Sagittarius will continue the upbeat trend on Saturday evening with a cheerful lightheartedness and inspired creativity. A good time to get back to finishing that art or craft project you have been procrastinating. The weekend will generally prove much calmer when the Moon travels into Pisces and slows outer movement. Going within, self-care and ‘me time’ will be the theme.
Jupiter goes direct on Sunday, and as the third planet to resume forward motion this month, a sense of order and peace will move us through the rest of October. Balance will be the theme as the Moon cruises through Libra on Wednesday and Thursday, so we’ll be able to take a breather from the persistent pace of the previous two days. Tomorrow’s Mercury in Leo opposition to Jupiter in Aquarius may cause conflict in discussions about religion and politics. We may also be prone to talk to much and even reveal confidential information that is not ours to disclose. So, tomorrow it may be best to keep our opinions to ourselves, stay out of the office gossip, and say as little as possible, despite our burning curiosity.
The Libra Moon will fortunately lighten the mood for the second half of the week, allowing us to flow with more realistic and achievable goals. However, the Moon’s opposition to Venus in Virgo may give rise to intense emotion and frustrated passion that may leave the rest of us feeling restless or discontented in our long-term relationships and marriages. Problems may be forthcoming with partners that can upset our domestic bliss.
Mercury will enter Leo tomorrow, urging our hearts and minds forge ahead into new enterprises over the next few weeks as it energizes and inspires us! The Pisces Moon sextile with Uranus in Taurus will further increase our ability to focus our attention and be more persuasive and determined in our dealings with others.

Whew! After all the chaos in the heavens last week, we can regroup for the next seven days, as there are no major astrological events on the agenda. All in all, it will be a good week to rebalance: first spiritually and then physically later in the week.
The Moon will glide through Pisces today and tomorrow, bringing out our spiritual and reflective side. It calls us today to take some time out to focus on the inner self. The Moon conjunction with Jupiter in Pisces may also bring along a welcome financial windfall or an opportunity for social influence and success.
Tomorrow’s Pisces Moon square Mercury in Gemini creates a window of opportunity for us to access our spiritual gifts and talents, but be careful not to abuse the privilege or take it for granted.
We may not get much done the first three days of the week, but whatever we manage to process internally this week will be essential for us to move forward next week.
We can get back to work with more focus as the Moon cruises through action-oriented Aries on Wednesday, and most likely get twice as much done, compared to anything we attempted at the start of the week. Use the rest of the week to make up for lost time!
