The Powerful Art Of Daydreaming
I was frequently reprimanded in my school years for daydreaming. My eyes would glaze over as I gazed into the distance, and I know it amused other kids in class!
Research has revealed that brain activity actually increases for the day-dreamer, and, as our minds drift aimlessly, we access problem-solving areas of our grey matter.
I learned too, that our intuition is our imagination, so as our mind wanders, we allow creativity and psychic impressions to be channeled through from our higher selves, or from our spirit helpers.
Next time you have a big project to deliver, you may be surprised at the improved results should you allow your mind rest in between intense periods of concentration. We often get our most brilliant ideas when we are doing something mundane that takes little concentration, like taking a shower, for example. Continue reading
The Bridge
One of my clients once had dreams about a bridge she had never seen before, and many years later I saw the same bridge when she contacted me for a psychic reading. It turned into a very unusual reading. I brought stuff up on what I was seeing that had nothing to do with the actual reading my client originally requested.
For some reason I kept seeing cows around her? I also heard a bell in the distance. It was not a cow bell; it sounded more like an old church bell that was out of tune. And I could see heavy rain, as if a storm was ready to hit, and the wind was blowing really hard where you could not see in front of you. The Secret Wisdom Of A Dream Journal – Part 2
I have always had very interesting dreams – re-occurring dreams, scary dreams, wonderful dreams, dreams of all kinds. When I was a child I always looked forward to going to sleep, because it was like seeing a fantasy movie while I slept.
I’ve always been curious about dreams and used to wonder if there was something more to them than just random mental wanderings that meant nothing. Today, I am very much aware that they are very meaningful. This is why I believe everyone should keep a dream journal!
It is so very important to record your dreams. You may be thinking that you don’t dream, or that you don’t remember them. Many of my family members have claimed the same thing, so for Christmas I gave them all moonstones and told them to place them under their pillows. Continue reading
