Do It Anyway
Recently, I posted on social media about my daughter’s graduation, when she was awarded a degree in Psychology with high honors from a well-known university. I was really proud of her, and wanted to share it with the world.
Many friends and family commented on the post, with congratulatory excitement and kind remarks. But later that day, I noticed there was also a hurtful comment on that same post from my mother.
In the post I had misspelled the words summa cum laude and my mother’s comment read, “Ask your daughter how to spell summa cum laude.” That was it. It seemed short and cold. My heart sank. Not only from the public embarrassment of her comment, but more so from the insinuation that I lack intelligence. Continue reading
Wisdom From The Garden
As living beings having a human and earthly experience, we are bound by natural law. Natural law is simply the order of things and one of the primary natural laws is that things unfold over time. This law represents the seasonal dynamic of life.
Many times, people will have a desire, something that they would like to experience in relationships or within their career. I am confident that our desires are meant to be fulfilled, but it is important to understand that the fulfillment of our desires unfolds over time.
Just like a garden, it is crucial for us to recognize the process by which things come into being. I want tomatoes in my garden. So, I started some tomato plants from seed. When I planted the seeds, I trusted that they were growing. This is often the first step to manifesting. We must trust that the natural order is working in our favor. Continue reading
Release Yourself From Past Life Patterns
A few days ago my good friend Tom, whom I have known for a couple of years now, popped over for a visit – as he tends to do every now and again. Tom is quite smart and generally an all around nice, helpful person.
During the course of our conversations, Tom commented on the fact that although he is well into his 60’s now, his life has been somewhat dull and uneventful. He cannot understand why things for him appear to be always so bland and unexciting.
After a few probing questions on my part it soon became apparent that Tom had never really established any goals for himself and did not have any particular vision in mind for his future. There was never any thought of wealth or riches, aside from the fact he shared the hope of many of one day winning a lottery. Jealousy Steals Your Serenity
Doing a psychic reading can sometimes trigger unpleasant memories or negative emotions for the psychic professional. But, as unpleasant as our own experiences may have been, they do help us to identify with those individuals who approach us for counsel.
One situation which has cropped up lately relates to jealous friends or family members. More often than not, my client doesn’t have the foggiest idea as to why the jealousy is there at all, especially when they feel they’ve put every effort into sustaining the relationship in question. When fictional characters, like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, train to use their abilities, one of the first things their mentors, such as Yoda, tell them is that they must learn control. This is just as important to us as we use our own metaphysical abilities in the real world.
The first and foremost reason for this is that we have to use any psychic ability given to us for our own good, and that of others. If we use these abilities without mindful intent behind them, or with hostile intent, they can be very counter-productive.
