Astrological Forecast December 28, 2020 – January 3, 2021
It’s time to tie up those loose ends and prepare for new beginning as we move into 2021 this week!
Information gathering will be a theme under Monday’s Gemini Moon, as we ground ourselves with the facts and figures we need.
The Cancer full Moon on Tuesday (also known as the Cold Moon) will remind us that putting our family, friends and security first is the way to go as we prepare to exit 2020 and embrace a new cycle. Full Moons are all about releasing, so let’s put closure to the past, make amends where necessary and create a fresh slate before moving into the future.
The New Year arrives under a Leo Moon, reminding us to take better care of ourselves in 2021 with more physical activity, a healthy diet, and watching our budgets.
We can relax until Saturday, but when the Moon moves into Virgo on Sunday, it will be time to pull out those new calendars, update our day-planners, purge our phones of outdated info and phone numbers, and prepare to greet the coming year with open arms and a fresh outlook! Accepting Your Psychic Abilities
I was recently asked how I became aware and started using my psychic abilities. For many this can be a complicated, challenging journey, but I was fortunate to grow into my psychic gifts quite easily.
It all began with me growing up in a small town with a population of only 8000 souls. We were a large family of 12 children, which at that time was more common than today.
From the time I can remember, my mother used to foretell events and always spoke of a person’s “inner character,” as if she could clearly see their internal mechanisms as one would with an X-ray. It was also clear to everyone who knew her that she never seemed to be wrong in her estimations.
At the same time, my grandmother, as well as my father, frequently spoke of spirits coming back to visit us from the afterlife, and sightings of loved ones who had passed on was a common occurrence in our family life.
I can remember even as a very young child that I also just ‘knew things’ and certainly it never occurred to me to question the validity of any information I perceived. In my family it was not unusual to hear talk of someone having the “third eye” or the “second sight.” No one was ever denied their gifts.
As children we simply took these ideas in our stride and accepted them as natural and normal. We never had reason to question any of it and we didn’t realize this was not something all children experienced in their families. It was as common to us as any other domestic event that would occur in other people’s homes.
Psychic ability, metaphysics and the paranormal was something that we would naturally nourish growing up and utilize to whatever advantage we needed. Maybe ones of the reasons it became so strong among the siblings, was our inherent drive to survive under extremely arduous and stressful conditions. Only later in life did we come to understand that not all brother and sisters develop this strong psychic bond, with the ability to connect and detect danger in any situation, despite the great distances that might separate us to this day.
Astrological Forecast December 21- 27, 2020
The Sun moves into Capricorn today, setting the stage for four weeks of grounded and deliberate movement. Capricorn is the sign of responsibility, security and safety, as well as the epitome of enterprise. If you’ve always dreamed of starting your own business or diving into a new creative venture, consider making your move after the first of next year.
In the meantime, this holiday week should unfold smoothly. Tuesday and Wednesday’s Aries Moon will give us the energy to get all our pre-holiday tasks completed in record time. The Moon will flow through Taurus Christmas Eve through Saturday, making for a pleasant, easy-going break. The focus will be on the people we share our time with rather than the gifts we give or receive, and bring out the true spirit of the holidays.
Sunday will be the ideal time to test out new electronics, socialize and visit with those far away, as the Gemini Moon promotes easy conversation and fun-filled activities. May your holidays be relaxing, safe and happy!

We’ve got a full parade of planetary aspects going on this week, including the Sagittarius New Moon Solar Eclipse, as well as Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury all changing signs. The Sagittarius New Moon Solar Eclipse greets us first this morning, kicking off a new six-month cycle of renewed focus, new beginnings and unexpected opportunities.
This is a powerful time to set new intentions for manifestations of abundance in your life. Sagittarius is all about justice, fairness and light-hearted fun, perfect for the holidays and New Year that is just around the corner. We may soon find ourselves immersed in speculating about what to expect from 2021, but first, there’s the holiday celebrations to contend with!
Venus moves into Sagittarius tomorrow, amplifying the holidays and social interaction. Saturn moves into Aquarius on Wednesday, urging us to break free of tradition or restrictions, and to do more of our own thing over the next six months. Jupiter will join Saturn in Aquarius on Saturday, followed by Mercury entering a more grounded Capricorn on Sunday. With all these astrological shifts occurring in one week, we can be certain that change, big change, is coming our way, heralding a promising start to the coming New Year!

Things will flow along fairly quietly this week, as we move through the second half of the lunar eclipse. Today is however a great time to get your ducks in a row. Using the Virgo Moon to plunge into detailed work and organizational projects will prove fruitful, so take the opportunity today to careful go over your holiday budget, plan that party or celebration, or finalize your holiday travel arrangements. With Christmas only a few weeks away, it’s time to get down to business anyway!
Wednesday and Thursday will be good days to restore balance, both within and without, under the Libra Moon. So, take a break from all the end of year activity to just relax and breathe!
The Scorpio Moon will reign on Friday and Saturday, calling for more social activity and spiritual reflection. Don’t worry if you can’t get to everything on your list early in the week, as Sunday’s Sagittarius Moon will have you moving at lightning speed through all your chores and obligations.

A lunar eclipse greets us today, as the Gemini Moon (also known as the Frosty Moon) waxes full and marks the first of two eclipses this month, along with a significant shift in direction for the next six months. Eclipses tend to come in pairs, one lunar and one solar, and the solar eclipse will occur in two weeks, on Monday, December 14th. During this cycle, we need to step back and go within to prepare for new beginnings, release the past, and consider a new focus for the start of 2021. This week’s lunar eclipse encourages us to put aside our emotions, and look more closely at the tangible, practical aspects of our lives.
Mercury will move into Sagittarius tomorrow, turning our thoughts to the coming holiday season. Under Wednesday and Thursday’s Cancer Moon, we may feel inspired to begin decorating our homes for the celebrations ahead or, at the very least, take a closer look at creating more flow and harmony in our surroundings. The remainder of the week unfolds under a Leo Moon, calling us to practice care and generosity not only with those around us, but also with ourselves. It’s easy to forget to take care of ourselves during the astrological eclipses, so the most important thing we can do this weekend will be to put ourselves first!
Astrological Forecast November 23 – 29, 2020
The only significant astrological event on the agenda this week is Neptune turning direct on Saturday, after a five month retrograde cycle. Since it’s a subtle aspect, it should pass almost unnoticed! Although Neptune is a karmic planet that tends to move in the background, it has a higher purpose to direct us spiritually, allowing us to connect with our higher self, as well as our magical powers. As it shifts direction, this is a wonderful time to explore our intuitive, psychic and mystical gifts.
It may feel like we’re running in circles under today’s Pisces Moon, but as it grounds itself in Aries tomorrow, we’ll have three days to gather our wits about us, and prepare for Thanksgiving and the holiday weekend. We’ll greet the traditional ‘Black Friday’ shopping rush under a Taurus Moon, which bodes well for finding great bargains or regrouping after over-doing it on Thursday.
Our best bet this weekend is to focus on intellectual and social pursuits, as the Neptune shift on Saturday and the Gemini Moon on Sunday encourages thinking and dreaming big!
