With most planets in direct motion now, with the exception of Uranus and Neptune, there’s nothing standing in the way of us reaching for our goals and getting things done before the year’s end! We’ll be able to power through anything still waiting for our attention under today and tomorrow’s Capricorn Moon, as well as setting the wheels in motion for new goals.
The Capricorn Moon sextile with Mars in Scorpio will support us this morning with resourcefulness and increased willpower and courage to take a action and start the week on a high note.
This afternoon’s Capricorn Moon trine Uranus in Taurus will sharpen our determination and attention to detail, and boost our ability to be persuasive and inventive. It may be a productive afternoon for sales people and dealmakers!
Expect a change of heart, mind, or direction as the Moon dances through Aquarius on Wednesday and Thursday. No worries though, as the changes are just what we need to finalize and secure our dreams for the future.
A more spiritual tone overtakes us on Friday and Saturday, so let’s give ourselves permission to step back for a few days and let things settle in our minds and hearts. Regrouping is always important to be sure we’re operating at our best, so take advantage of this lull in the action to do just that.
Sunday’s Aries Moon will revive our energy, but the focus should be on home, family, and finances. Schedule in time to take care of the things that have been left on the back burner and restore some order to your personal world.
Banish Fear With The Power Of The Heart
I woke up from a powerful dream this morning. I was on the top floor of a high-rise building that had been struck by lightning. The building slowly started to move, to quake. I could see from the window neighboring structures being destroyed, and I sensed my own building’s collapse was imminent…with me inside it!
Could I make it down the stairs in time? I was about to try, but my exit was delayed by a pair of sparkling opal earrings that I simply had to take with me! But I could not manage to hold onto them for long. They kept slipping out of my hand, while the apocalypse was happening all around me.
I just had to bring the blingy earbobs – I am a Taurus, after all.
Then, as I gazed at the two little treasures, a stark truth hit me. I suddenly realized these material things do not matter in life and it shouldn’t delay me further. I also understood for some reason that the earrings now belonged to someone else and would bring them much joy in future. So, I returned the jewelry to the table where I found it…just before my building finally came crashing down.
Certainly, a lot to unpack. Temptation, ownership, materialism, impermanence, spiritual values, mortality, life goals.
But let’s get back to the dream.
Somehow, incredulously, like in a Marvel Comics adventure, I landed outside, unharmed. Then I found myself on a raft, with my immediate family all suddenly with me. We were rapidly floating together down a river.
Then it was time for us to get off, before we got hurt, but we were reluctant to do so. Suddenly, there was a friendly tribe of indigenous people on the bank of the river, expectantly waiting for us by a wall. So, we felt safe to dive off the raft, and we did so. The tribe members showed us the way through a hidden opening in the wall, and we all made it out safely to someplace new!
Astrology Forecast October 18 – 24, 2021
Mercury will resume forward motion today, but because it takes another week or two to get out of the retrograde shadow period, don’t assume we’re out of the woods yet! Continue to back up all your computer work and digital devices; take everything you hear with a grain of salt; tale extra care if you have to travel; and expect the unexpected until the retrograde after effects completely clears.
We have a lovely Aries Full Moon coming up on Wednesday, also called the Hunter’s Moon, which will generate a confidence in our skills and abilities, energetic vitality, mental sharpness, and sense of financial security. It is also a good time to be assertive and take on difficult challenges. Having what we need, as well as receiving something we want, are further positive aspects of this Moon. The restrictions we’ve faced over the past 18 months will now culminate in some solid solutions and relief.
Beware the Taurus Moon square Jupiter in Aquarius on Friday, because there is a risk of conflict and drama in romantic relationships. The Taurus Moon trine Pluto in Capricorn later in the day could also cause us to be emotionally selfish and restless, which could get us into trouble if we act impulsively on our sudden urge for adventure and excitement.
The Sun will enter karmic Scorpio between late Friday and early Saturday morning, which will shift our focus to the possibilities that await us. For the next four weeks, we will feel more in tune with spirit and our divine destiny, releasing the things that no longer serve us and embracing the true wonder of our lives. This is also a time when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest, and we can more easily receive messages and guidance from our loved ones on the other side.

Three major astrological events impact our heavens this week, beginning with today’s Pisces Full Moon, also known as the Harvest Moon. This Moon marks the completion of a cycle and a time to reap what we have sown, as well as the opportunity to release the past once and for all.
On Wednesday, the Sun will move into Libra and mark the start of a new season: autumn in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern hemisphere. With the Sun in Libra for the next four weeks, a sense of inner peace and balance will accompany all we do. As the sign that rules partnerships, love relationships, beauty, and harmony, we’ll gravitate to the things that make our hearts sing!
It might be challenging to get much done this week, until the Moon moves into Taurus on Thursday, but we’ll be able to make up for lost time under this grounding sign.
Mercury will go retrograde again on Sunday, and with the Moon in Gemini on the same day (a sign Mercury rules) we may find it impossible to make up our minds or figure out what action to take next. Remember, when in doubt, do nothing!

Most of all, practice patience when glitches or setbacks do show up as they do have a purpose and are designed to get your attention and increase awareness.

Today’s Pisces Moon will make it easier to see the spiritual side and higher purpose to all we do and encounter in this life. Be careful however to not overreact or withdraw too much from the world today, as the Pisces Moon conjunct Neptune in Pisces can make us more hypersensitive than usual.
Once the Moon moves into Aries tomorrow, we’ll have more drive and energy to get things done! This will be a great time to start new projects and take in very challenging tasks.
Thanks to the newly ensconced Virgo Sun today, all we essentially have to do is simply think something, and we can manifest it. Since Virgo rules health and technology, it is good idea to take action now to schedule that overdue medical checkup, as well update apps and clear out old files on your computer or smartphone. The time of Virgo is about taking care of business, and catching up on the procrastinated things you’ve been moving from list to list over the last two months!
The Moon will move into Taurus on Friday and continue the trend of getting things in order, especially on Saturday, when we’ll find it’s time to clear out the garage, clean up the garden, or make that household repair we’ve been putting off. It will also be best to stay busy at home doing something constructive, as the Taurus Moon square Jupiter in Aquarius could lead to reckless spending and love relationship issues. This week will produce more talk than action as it kicks off under a socially-oriented Gemini Moon. Sharing ideas, spouting opinions, and a higher than usual volume of Google searches and YouTube watching will the themes for today and tomorrow, as we strive to learn something new or get our ideas confirmed.
The Leo Sun opposition with Saturn in Aquarius may cause professional problems today. If you feel unsure about a work or business decision be careful not to overreact with fake confidence. If you need advice, reach out to your dad or mentor, or a father-figure in you life.
Tomorrow will be a good time to ask someone on a date or reach out to a current love interest, as Venus in Virgo trine Uranus in Taurus will get us in the mood for love and romance.
We’ll be operating in slow motion as the Moon dances through Cancer Wednesday through Friday, where the most we’ll be able to accomplish might be a good house cleaning or redecorating project. We’ll need to focus on balance, as a tendency to people-please or give away something we need may tend to prevail.

If you are single, you can probably take things easy today, as the Pisces Moon calls us to reflect, remember and relax. However, the Moon’s opposition to Venus in Virgo may give rise to intense emotion and frustrated passion that may leave the rest of us feeling restless or discontented in our long-term relationships and marriages. Problems may be forthcoming with partners that can upset our domestic bliss.
Mercury will enter Leo tomorrow, urging our hearts and minds forge ahead into new enterprises over the next few weeks as it energizes and inspires us! The Pisces Moon sextile with Uranus in Taurus will further increase our ability to focus our attention and be more persuasive and determined in our dealings with others.
