A child born between June 21st and July 22nd is a Cancer. Home and family are very important to children born under this zodiac sign. Anything relating to family and home life will tend to make them very sentimental. Cancers tend to keep elaborate scrapbooks or make videos of special family moments. Many people are familiar with the monthly full moon as a time of elevated emotions, but there are other phases to be mindful of, since they also affect our energy levels and feelings.
During a full moon, for example, you may realize that you have an abundance, or lack of energy.
The new moon occurs when it is invisible to the human eye. It is a wonderful time for new beginnings in relationships, business, making positive changes and setting goals. The new moon would be when you add something new, or remove the existing problem to strengthen yourself.

When The Moon Goes Into ‘Void Of Course’
Every now and then a pause occurs with the Moon. It literally takes a brief nap, as it sits in-between astrological transits. These momentary gear shifts encourage us to fall back on new adventures, or focus on important endeavors.
The concept is known as the Void of Course (VOC) and dates back to the Hellenistic Astrology of the First Century CE. It refers to that period of time when the Moon is no longer aspecting any planets in the most recent sign it was in, but has also not yet aspected any planets in the next sign it will enter.
I try not to let Astrology dictate my life, but important aspects should be taken into consideration to produce the best results, especially when the Moon is involved!
Each month, I write down on my calendar the times of the VOC and avoid certain activities, so I can save myself energy and time. This information is easily accessible via the Internet these days, but the times given should be adjusted according to your time zone.

Effects Of The Full Moon
How will today’s full moon affect you? Many therapists and doctors will tell you they notice severely emotional, erratic and bizarre behaviors from some of their patients during a full moon. Studies also point to anecdotal evidence of higher rates of crime, emergency room admissions and surgical mistakes during a full moon.
There have even been reputable studies about the effects of the moon on human behavior. One of the more convincing studies on lunar madness showed that pets are more likely to be admitted to the vet with injuries after a full moon. One study published in the British Medical Journal stated that bites from animals were twice as frequent in a British emergency room during a full moon.
Police officers also swear crimes go up and become more bizarre during full moons. It is often the topic of conversation in precincts. I do not believe it is a coincidence that the tales of the werewolf all occur during a full moon!
The moon controls the water and tides of planet Earth. About 71 percent of the Earth’s surface is water-covered, and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth’s water. Water also exists in the air as water vapor, in creeks, lakes and rivers, as well as in icecaps and glaciers, and in the ground as soil moisture. So, the fact that the moon has such a strong affect on the water of our planet, shows the deep impact she has on all of Earth and her creatures, who are also made of large amounts of water. Has Your Astrological Sign Changed?
Reports have been circulating in the media that scientists discovered that everyone’s zodiac sign has changed, due to a permanent shift in the constellations. The truth is this theory has actually been around since the mid-90’s, and has been causing quite a stir in metaphysical circles ever since.
A scientific study that measured the shift in the Earth’s axis (called the wobble) cites that the constellations are no longer moving in sync with the ancient dates and astrological positions originally assigned to signs of the zodiac in early times. This cast a lot of doubt and has been confusing people as to just what their actual sign might be. Of course, it also gave eager skeptics one more reason to point out why astrological practices aren’t valid.
Unfortunately, the scientists and skeptics who promote these claims base their entire theory on a misconception about how the signs of the zodiac came into being, and what they are really based on. In truth, the signs, degrees and divisions of the zodiac have no connection to the heavenly constellations that bear their same names.
The zodiac signs were originally assigned to an ‘elliptical belt’ that surrounds the earth based on the seasons of the year, rather than the stars above. An easier way to understand this is to remember that our seasons start on the first day the Sun enters a particular sign. The first day of Spring (in the Northern Hemisphere) corresponds to the onset of Aries; Summer to the first day of Cancer; Autumn to the first day of Libra; and Winter to the first day of Capricorn.
