sagittarius
Astrology Forecast November 20 – 26, 2023
The highlight of this week will be the Sun’s entry into Sagittarius on Wednesday, moving us out of the sultry vibes of Scorpio and into a more light-hearted and fun atmosphere for the next four weeks. Sagittarius is also the sign of justice, fairness, and the law of the land, so moving with honor and intention will be emphasized.
However, we’ll be leaning toward a more spiritual, ethereal stance today and tomorrow as the Moon moves through Pisces. Go with the flow and trust your intuition when making important decisions during this time.
This morning’s Pisces Moon conjunction with Saturn may cause us to feel a little melancholy or even depressed. Guard against unwarranted feelings of dissatisfaction or loneliness, and try not to be stubborn or unnecessarily difficult, as this will only set the tone for a much more challenging week than would otherwise be the case.
Tomorrow afternoon a Pisces Moon square to Mercury in Sagittarius could cause some problems with communication and travel. Double-check your route before you hit the road and make sure you are sending that text or email to the right person! Some of us may also experience brain fog, lack of focus and negative thoughts.
The pace will pick up on Wednesday and we will fly through our commitments with ease until Friday under an assertive Aries Moon.
Astrology Forecast November 13 – 19, 2023
The week begins with a Scorpio New Moon this morning, which may cause some of us to let our emotions get the better of us. Usually a Scorpio New Moon inspires gentle harmony in our relationships, but unfortunately today is a perfect cosmic storm for potential upheaval and conflict in romantic relationships and marriages.
The reason today can become an emotional minefield is that a Scorpio Moon opposition to Uranus in Taurus, as well as a conjunction with Mars, can cause our heightened emotional sensitivity to turn into moodiness, irritability, and even outright aggression. By midday, emotional tensions may escalate further due to a Scorpio Sun opposition to Uranus in Taurus, and tonight’s Moon transit into Sagittarius may be the final fiery straw.
So, for some of us, this could become a very emotionally challenging day. Focus on being patient and tolerant, especially with your romantic partner. Stay calm, centered and grounded unless you want to start the week with a big fight or even a petty breakup drama.
Fortunately, our romantic lives will take a turn for the better tomorrow morning with a Sagittarius Moon conjunction with Mercury in Sagittarius and a sextile with Venus in Libra. These aspects promise good vibes for love and relationships, and we will be better at communicating our feelings and resolving disagreements.
Astrology Forecast November 6 – 12, 2023
Two planets change signs this week, shifting our focus and raising the vibrations for the next few weeks.
Venus moves into Libra, the sign it rules, on Wednesday, followed by Mercury’s move into Sagittarius on Friday. Both will spend the month of November inspiring loving and joyful energies.
Meanwhile, productivity will be the name of the game from this afternoon through Wednesday as the Moon moves through Virgo, calling for organization, analysis and integration. Detailed, focused work, sorting through information, and organizing plans are all themes to expect during this meticulous transit.
It may even be a good idea to work late today, for while things may be highly organized and productive at the office, the Virgo Moon’s opposition to Saturn in Pisces late this afternoon could cause some trouble at home, especially regarding disagreements about dependent children and family finances. Bite your tongue and keep the peace. Also, if an elderly parent or relative lives with you, they are likely to interfere, which will only add fuel to the fire.
The rest of the week will be more relaxed and personable as the Moon transits Libra Thursday through Friday. Combined with Venus entering Libra tomorrow, people will be more friendly, kind, and helpful than usual, so this will be a good time to ask a friend that big favor or your employer for that long-overdue raise.
The weekend unfolds under a mystical Scorpio Moon that will spark our imaginations and bring us into contact with interesting people, ideas and information to consider. Going with the flow will be a theme, as this moon is famous for changing our direction at a moment’s notice.
Astrology Forecast October 16 – 22, 2023
We will be marching to the beat of our own drummer this week, so forget what others think and follow your instincts; it is the best way to make the most progress!
There is an intense energy under the Scorpio Moon today, so be careful not to step on other people’s toes in your attempts to achieve your own lofty goals.
To make matters worse, the day begins with the Scorpio Moon in opposition to Jupiter in Taurus, which is a transit notorious for instigating legal issues and clashes with authorities, as well as conflicts in marriages and romantic relationships. Slow down, stay calm and watch for any signs of trouble at home, in the office, and on the road.
Tomorrow through Thursday will be more light-hearted as the Moon passes through fun-loving and social Sagittarius.
Thursday afternoon’s Sagittarius Moon sextile Mercury in Libra offers a particularly good opportunity for sales, advertising and marketing, and our communication skills will be at their best. However, we may not get much done due to the Moon’s square to Neptune in Pisces and sextile to the Libra Sun. These two transits tend to lower our energy levels and invite hypersensitivity, laziness, daydreaming, and a passive attitude. You may have to pull yourself up by the bootstraps to get it done!
The People In Your Tarot Court Cards
In a psychic tarot reading, several court cards, also known as ‘people cards’, may come up in a spread. This can be challenging and even confusing, because the reader must now interpret not only the situational influences and circumstances revealed by the spread, but also the other people who are playing a role, or may still be involved in the matter.
There are many different approaches to interpreting tarot court cards, but my personal preference is to associate each card with an astrological sign of the zodiac.
There are 78 cards in a traditional Tarot deck. The first 22 cards are the Major Arcana and the remaining 56 are the Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana are divided into four suits that correspond to the four classical elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.
The element of Air is typically represented in the deck design as swords, feathers, birds, or clouds. The element of Fire is usually represented as wands, batons, or staffs. The element of Water is represented by cups, chalices, bowls, or mermaids. And the element of Earth is represented as pentacles, coins, or stones.
Sixteen of the 56 minor arcana are the court cards. The court cards of each suit represent people who embody the personality, traits, or influence of the associated element. Occasionally, a court card may also represent someone who fits the physical appearance of a particular person card as depicted in the card’s design.
Astrology Forecast May 29 – June 4, 2023
Joyful harmony is the theme at the start of this week, as the Moon glides through Libra today and tomorrow.
A Libra Moon tends to create an effervescent, affectionate mood. Today is a good day to make new friends, and romantically whisper sweet nothings to that someone special. Also, the Libra Moon sextile with Mars in Leo offers the perfect opportunity this evening to spend some quality time with your beloved.
However, be sure to keep your cool Wednesday morning when the Libra Moon squares with Venus in Cancer, as disagreements and arguments are more likely, especially with the women in your life.
The remainder of the week unfolds under a more intense, ambitious Scorpio Moon. Focus, drive, and progress will be the dominant themes Wednesday through Friday. By harnessing this determined energy boost we are likely to get twice as much accomplished as we had planned.
The Moon waxes full in Sagittarius on Saturday, which could bring surprising people into your midst. This Full Moon could have us crossing paths with exes, people we went to grade school with, or even strangers with whom we share a past life connection.
If someone comes up in your thoughts out of the blue, do a search on social media to see if you can find them (assuming you want to find them.) But be careful if an ex shows up this weekend, asking for a second chance. Your answer should be a decisive no, but do relish in the ego trip of knowing they finally realize your worth!
Finally, if you’re still flying solo, this is a great weekend to venture out to the social scenes or check out dating sites. Swipe left? Swipe right? Take a chance, as anything is possible under this lovely Sagittarius Full Moon!
The Empowering Symbolism Of The World Card
The World card in the Tarot remains one of my firm favorites. I am all for personal and spiritual growth, the completion of cycles, and new beginnings. The World represents exactly that: the ending of a cycle and pause in life, before the next major cycle begins with the fool.
The journey from the new beginnings of The Fool to the fulfilling endings of The World is a constant evolutionary process in our everyday lives that is represented by the sequence of the 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot. The World is the 22nd trump and therefore final card of the Major Arcana.
I have reflected on the imagery of the Rider-Waite version of this Tarot card in great detail. Rider-Waite is probably the most popular and universally recognized Tarot deck. The illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith at first glance appear simple, but the details and backgrounds feature abundant mystical symbolism.
The World pictures an empowered figure within a wreath – traditionally a symbol of victory, success, achievement, and eternal life. The figure holds a wand in each hand, which is reminiscent of the Magician card and the Two of Wands. However, while The Magician holds only one wand, the two wands in the The World card represents fulfillment, wholeness, balance and coming full circle.
The card is framed by four animals on the diagonal. The depiction of these four creatures parallels the four animal symbols used in Christian art to represent the four Evangelists, namely Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The four animals also represent the zodiac signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, the four fixed signs in Western Astrology, which in turn represent the classical four elements of Earth, Fire, Water and Air.
