Buckle up for some turbulence today! The Libra Moon’s opposition to Mercury in Aries this morning will create some tension between our emotions and our communication styles.
The Moon in Libra tends to promote harmony, diplomacy, and a desire for fairness in our emotional responses. On the other hand, Mercury in Aries is more assertive, direct, and focused on individual needs and desires. This opposition can create a conflict between our need for emotional balance and our desire to express ourselves assertively.
We may struggle today to find the right words to express ourselves, or to strike a balance between being assertive and considerate in our interactions with others. This will be made worse by Mercury Retrograde in its final lap.
This evening, a Libra Moon opposition to Venus in Aries will prolong the tension between head and heart, leaving us feeling insecure and unbalanced. Libra seeks harmony, balance and compromise, while Aries prioritizes individual needs over compromise. This opposition can create tension between the need for emotional balance and the desire for assertiveness and independence. It may not be easy to reconcile your emotions with your rational desires and needs.
There is a Full Moon in Scorpio tomorrow, which will have the greatest impact on the water and earth signs. Full moons are a time of release, and with Mercury retrograde about to end, we will see a lot of endings this week as we prepare to enter a new cycle of being. The Scorpio Moon will continue to rule the skies until Thursday, calling us to go inside and examine what no longer serves us and what we want to keep in our lives.
Mercury turns direct on Thursday, but remember to give the lingering after-effects of retrograde a wide berth until at least May 1st, when the shadow period ends and the remaining energies return to balance.
A more lighthearted energy fills the air under the Sagittarius Moon on Friday and Saturday, where we can focus on the joys in our lives. We’ll experience a new sense of freedom and a genuine sense of gratitude that will be evident to everyone around us.

The Wisdom Of Being Open To Psychic Guidance
I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of being open to the truth and the willingness to receive guidance in a psychic reading. I have also seen the opposite, and its sometimes devastating consequences.

Traditional Turkish coffee is unique in its preparation. Prepared without the addition of milk, cream, and other additives, it focuses on the pure, robust flavors of the coffee.
The art of brewing Turkish coffee is a meticulous process using a special coffee pot called a cezve or ibrik, which produces coffee with a strong flavor and thick, frothy texture. The grounds remain in the cup when it is served, contributing to the distinctive bitter taste that is a hallmark of this revered beverage.
In addition to its strong taste and aroma, Turkish coffee has a mystical appeal and a long history as a divination tool. The use of Turkish coffee grounds for divination, known as tasseography or kafemandeia, is a traditional practice in many cultures, including Turkish, Arabic and Greek.
In other cultures, tasseography is mostly practiced with tea leaves or wine sediments, but in Istanbul, coffee grounds became the preferred medium for this mystical art.
Steeped in history, the practice can be traced back to the Ottoman Empire, when coffee divination became popular in the 16th century in the harem of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, located in the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. This divination ritual was originally a way for the women of the harem to share news, gossip, and insights. At the time, women were banned from public coffeehouses, so fortunetellers, commonly known as “falci,” were allowed into the harem to read for the sultan’s wives. The term “fal” means “omen” or “fortune.”

The week begins with a Cancer Half Moon today, meaning the Moon is at a 90-degree angle to the Sun. This lunar energy brings focus to issues of emotional and security needs, as Cancer is associated with home, family, and emotional nourishment.
Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so emotions tend to run high during this phase. We may be more sensitive, intuitive and introspective. We will also be more focused on domestic matters, and there may be a greater need for emotional support and connection with others.
Given Cancer’s focus on personal life, this lunar phase may make balancing work and home life more challenging. Emotional distractions and an increased need for security could affect productivity or interactions with colleagues. Rather than focusing on work, we may instead be preoccupied with issues of comfort, care, and connection with others, especially family members.
The emotional intensity of this phase can also lead to conflict, both in personal relationships and in public. It’s important to be aware of your words and actions. The protective and sometimes possessive nature of Cancer energy can also cause tension if not handled with awareness and compassion. Given the potential for heightened emotions and sensitivity, taking a moment to reflect before responding to challenges can prevent misunderstandings and conflict.
Psychic Guidelines For Mercury Retrograde
Many people are familiar with the astrological transit known as Mercury Retrograde, which occurs three or four times a year, and how it affects our lives with communication mishaps, technological glitches and misunderstandings.
What is less well known is how it affects psychic reading. Over the years, I have noticed the influence of this astroligical aspect in many of my psychic readings during retrogrades. Since we are currently in the midst of another Mercury Retrograde, I thought it might be a good time to explore this phenomenon in more detail.
If you are unfamiliar, Mercury Retrograde is an astrological phenomenon that occurs when the planet Mercury appears to be moving backwards in space. This is actually an optical illusion caused by the Earth’s orbit overtaking Mercury’s closer orbit to the Sun.
We are currently halfway through the first Mercury retrograde for this year, which will last until April 25. The next two retrogrades for 2024 will be August 4 to August 28 and November 25 to December 15.
In astrology, Mercury is the planetary ruler of communication, travel, and information processing. So, when Mercury is retrograde, these areas of our lives tend to be most affected. The week begins with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries today, marking the beginning of a six-month cycle of renewed focus.
The second of two eclipses this year (the first occurred on March 25th with the full moon), it promises potential breakthroughs and advanced movement.

Lenormand Cards Illuminate The Everyday
A few years ago, I met a fellow psychic online who recommended that I add Lenormand cards to my divination repertoire. It is a decision I will always cherish, as learning these cards has certainly benefited both my spiritual and professional journey.
Like Tarot, it is a card-based divination system rich in symbolism, but it is simpler than Tarot, with fewer cards in the deck, and easier to learn. Lenormand has only thirty-six cards instead of the bulkier 78-card Tarot deck.
This system of cartomancy is named after Marie Anne Lenormand (1772-1843), a famous French fortune teller of the Napoleonic era who was known for her work with influential figures of her time, although she did not create the cards herself. Lenormand cards became popular in the 19th century and have seen a resurgence of interest in recent years.
I use two types of Lenormand decks in my readings. One is the Petite deck and the other is the Dondorf Lenormand.
The design of the Petite Lenormand deck is simpler and more direct than that of the Dondorf Lenormand, focusing on clear, easily recognizable symbols without extensive ornamentation. This simplicity is intended to facilitate the interpretation of the cards, as the symbols and their combinations are the primary means of divination. The cards are also smaller than typical tarot cards and are modeled directly after the types of decks that Ms. Lenormand herself might have used or recognized.
