In our professional interactions I constantly tried to guide him gently toward healing and forgiveness, but his deeply entrenched anger and lack of empathy led to a deteriorating mental state. Despite my repeated warnings about the potential negative impact on his daughters, he stubbornly chose not to change his ways.
