Together Again In The Afterlife

There are many different beliefs and opinions about what happens to us after we die. For centuries, philosophers, theologians, and even scientists have pondered whether or not we are reunited with our loved ones in the spirit world when we leave this life.

There are also many people who believe that there is no life after death. They believe that when we die, our consciousness simply ceases to exist. This idea is often based on the idea that our consciousness is a product of our brains, and when our brains die, our consciousness dies with them.

It is often claimed that there is no definitive answer to any of these questions, and that it is purely a matter of “faith.” Well, faith is believing in something without concrete evidence. It is trusting that something is true without any proof.

I have to disagree. For me, the afterlife is not just a matter of mere faith, nor is it a complex question with no real answers. For me, it is a matter of knowing it as truth from personal, first-hand experiences.

Not only have I seen ample evidence in both my professional and personal life that the afterlife does exist, but I also know that when death separates us from our loved ones, it is only temporary, for we are ultimately reunited with them in the spirit realm.

Many years ago, I had visitation experiences in which the spirits of both my grandfather and later my grandmother came to me after each of them had passed away. In fact, I had several such spirit contact experiences with them, but it was always with each of them separately. I never had a visitation with them together.

Then one night I had a dream about the two of them together. In the dream, I saw them together in their old black 1930s car. The same one he used to drive her home from school when she was 16 years old. They were driving down a lush lane with very beautiful trees in the most amazing shade of purple. Purple was my grandmother’s favorite color.

After this experience, I decided to set an intention and telepathically asked them to kindly visit me together, or at least give me another sign so I could be sure they were together now.

Well, not too long after I made this request, while I was meditating one evening and in a deep theta trance state, they both appeared to me in a clairvoyant vision. It was a very vivid encounter that confirmed to me that they were now together in spirit form.

My grandmother even showed me how my grandpa had been waiting for her at the gate to the other side when she crossed over. He was pulled up in the same old black car. She got in next to him and together they drove off into the light.

We’ll celebrate the anniversary of our earthly bonding throughout eternity, but not by going away alone together for a romantic getaway. We’ll be partying with all the saints and angels ~ Terry A. Modica

Then I saw them together in a place that looked like the house where I would go and spend time with them in the summer. The house looked exactly the same and the garden they had built together was there. Everything was still as I remembered it, including the old wooden swing. The only new addition were the same purple trees I had seen in the dream.

From other mediumship experiences I have had in my career, I know that some people’s spouses or partners do not always show up to be with them at the time of their passing. In fact, sometimes people do not see their partners again in the afterlife. If you get a mediumship reading to connect with a deceased spouse, and there is complete radio silence with no messages comes through from them, you can be sure you probably won’t have to deal with them again on to the other side.

But, how is it that my grandmother and grandfather were reunited after all these years? My grandfather died 18 years before my grandmother. She came to live with us after he died. During this profound experience, I finally figured it out.  The answer is so simple and obvious that I still cannot believe I never thought of it before!

My grandparents explained to me that they are not to reincarnate in the near future. I asked them if they had a choice in the matter, and they said yes, but apparently not everyone has that choice. They showed me that because they worked so hard in life and were kind and good people who helped and loved others, they could stay together in the spirit world as long as they wanted.

So, this is good news if you have not had the best long-term relationship or marriage. If you don’t like your current or former partner or spouse, Grandpa assured me that you don’t have to see them again on the other side. They won’t be there. And chances are, if they were not the nicest and most loving person in this life, they will have no choice but to reincarnate to come and clean up the karmic mess they left behind!

I asked my grandparents if they would still be together when I pass away one day, and they said yes. I am so happy because the place they showed me is home to me. It is my happy place, that clearing in the woods with their house, the wooden swing, the little bonfire in the middle of those trees that are the most beautiful purple color.

The experience was so magical and beautiful that I did not want it to end. The love and blissful happiness I felt that night is something I will never forget. I am so happy to know that they are together. Love never dies.

Before the vision faded, my grandparents also assured me that when it was my time to leave this world, they would be there to meet me.

Call it faith, or even false hope if you wish. Thanks to my psychic gift, I know it firsthand as truth, joy, and inner peace.
