Embrace Who You Are
We all came to this planet with our own unique gifts. Just like no one on the planet has the same fingerprint as you, they also do not have the same talent, voice or look. Sure, some may come close, but the entirety of a person, their personality and so on, is completely different from one to the other.
I feel saddened when I see young people copying one another. Why they do this is uncertain to me, however I’m sure they want to fit in or be accepted, and they fear being rejected by their peers. There are also adults who do this. I asked one girl who was mimicking her friend recently, why would you want to be a photo copy of someone else? You’re beautiful and you have a lovely voice, and you are a very talented artist. She looked at me and said: “Oh my goodness, you’re so right!” I told her that each person came to this planet to share their light in their own unique way, no matter what your personal qualities and talents may be.

I feel if all children were told from a young age how special they are and their gifts nurtured by their parents, maybe they would have better self-esteem for when they got into elementary school. I see so many kids copying one another. I see so many kids who just want to belong, instead of embracing their individual self and personal gifts.
Embracing who you are starts with loving yourself, accepting yourself – even the things you find as your faults. Sometimes what you deem as your faults, or things you don’t like about yourself, could really be a blessing or a gift, if you only change your perspective and not conform to what society dictates is right or wrong. That is the big lie that people believe… what society thinks you should, or should not be.
The media and popular culture brainwash us into these beliefs and values. It’s sad how so many fall prey to this. You have to to be this size, or have to use this product, or eat this, or do that. It can potentially drive one insane. We must disconnect from all of it.

I’m a strong believer in, and user of affirmations, and I can provide them as a tool if asked in my readings. So, if you need a certain affirmation to help you embrace who you are and love who you are, don’t hesitate to ask when you get a reading from me. I love sending meditations and affirmations designed especially for each of my clients. It’s my way of thanking my clients for their time and energy in coming to see me.
Embrace who you are! Like the stars in the sky and the sand on the beach, or the fingerprints on your finger, each person is different and comes with special gifts. Love and embrace yourself and see how many people’s lives you will touch. Maybe you can also help others to not be a photocopy, but an individual who lets their own light shine!
