Spiritual Growth Without Judgment Or Guilt
I recently had a nasty fight with my ex-husband that was definitely not in line with the spiritual values and principles I teach my clients. Afterwards, I felt very defeated and disappointed in myself for not practicing what I preach.
But then Spirit whispered in my ear.
“It’s okay not to be perfect all the time. Sometimes you need to let the toxic air out of your human ego balloon.”
Upon further reflection, I was reminded that we are all spirit beings in human form, which automatically means we are limited and fallible. No one is perfect in this world.
After all, we have signed up for a very challenging physical adventure in this lifetime, which means we all have problems from time to time and we all make mistakes. That is how we learn and grow. In fact, one of the least spiritual things we can do is pretend we’re perfect.
Sometimes we need to let off steam by releasing pent-up negative energies that tend to build up in our auras as we navigate the ups and downs and many frustrations of our daily human existence. Yes, indeed, there are times when we need to go ahead and just beat the heck out of our ego piñata to get rid of some bad juju! When we release these unwanted energies, we detoxify our energy field to live a more abundant and fulfilling life.
You were born to be real, not to be perfect. You are here to be you, not to live someone else’s life ~ Ralph Marston
Whether we or others make a mistake, we must make every effort to approach it with compassion rather than judgment. Some constructive criticism may be necessary, but we must make an extra effort to avoid absolutes so that we can enrich our lives with greater compassion and wisdom.
Think about how valuable wisdom and compassion are today. In a world of isolation, conflict and lack of empathy, you can be the jewel of a needle in a haystack.
But don’t just follow these principles for your own benefit! Make sure you’re also adding value to the lives of others, regardless of when or how any karmic reward may come your way.
When we completely let go and trust that Divine Providence will take its course and filter back to the greater good, we see cycles of abundance naturally perpetuating themselves in our lives as if we didn’t have to do any work at all.
When we use spiritual and metaphysical practices to refine our vibrational frequency and maintain the flow and balance of our energies, there is less accumulation of toxicity in our ego balloon that needs to be released, often to the detriment of others.
We must also remember that the slow, steady journey toward spiritual growth and personal enlightenment must include forgiveness of ourselves and others. We are all beautiful souls with unlimited higher potential, and everyone deserves some respect and love, regardless of their mistakes in this life.
The wound is the place where the light enters you.Imperfections and scars allow us to grow, learn, and find our inner strength ~ Rumi
As we let go of karmic behaviors and tendencies, we evolve. Therefore, the choices and decisions we make to evolve usually come with a lot of struggle and suffering. We can’t transcend the negative in our lives without some drama, pain and conflict. This is part of the human experience that we have come to learn from.
Evolving our soul is the most remarkable choice we can ever make, and the Universe ultimately rewards that choice. Along our journey, the Universe also tolerates a great deal of imperfection and many mistakes until we reach our destination. There is no requirement for us to be perfect.
Continue your courageous soul journey today without judgment or guilt.
