Start Your Lifetime Of Happiness Today
What does it take to be truly happy? This seemingly simple question is one of the most difficult to answer. As a psychic advisor who has been relaying guidance from spirit for over wo decades, I have come to understand that happiness is determined by several factors. Spirit has repeatedly shown me over the years that true happiness is a holistic thriving of the mind, body, and soul. It is also a unique state of being for every person.
Sometimes people are also more, or less happy than they might realize. And in my experience reading for people all over the world, many folks also have no idea what would truly make them happy. Have you ever asked yourself what makes you happy, or will make you happy? It certainly is not fame and fortune…that much I do know.
In the many relationship and career readings I do, I also find some of my clients tend to put their own needs aside to take care of others. They prioritize other people’s happiness, instead of their own. This is at times very kind and noble, but spirit says it is always important to remember that you matter most in your life, because if you are not happy…you can also not offer others very much for very long.
Too many people give, and give, and compromise, and sacrifice, yet never get much, if anything, in return. Which in turn leaves them feeling empty and miserable to the extent that they are no longer able to be there for themselves, nor anyone else. Taking care of yourself first is not a luxury, but a necessity…and a spiritual duty.
Ask yourself today: Am I happy? If the answer is ‘no’ or ‘not sure’ then ask yourself why? What seems missing? Which of your needs are not being met? When was the last time you felt content or fulfilled, and why? Carefully consider what changes you can make in your life to fill in your happiness gap. This might seem silly or simplistic, but do give it some thought…you might just surprise yourself.

I spoke to a friend and fellow psychic earlier today who was emotionally spinning out of control. We have known each other since childhood, and we are so psychically in tune with each that our guides always reach out whenever one of us is in distress and in need of guidance or assistance.
This time it was my turn to be there for her. She had a trigger come up in her life and needed to deal with it, and put it behind her. Even being psychic does not mean one knows everything about yourself and your own future. Yes, even psychics do not have all the answers and we also have to work on our mind-body-soul happiness on a daily basis.
In fact, most psychics usually put themselves last, to support others instead. And those of us who neglect our self-care too often for too long, eventually hit rock bottom. Yet, we tend to always find a way to pick ourselves up again, recharge ourselves, and return to service.
Take the time to look honestly at your life and see what you can do to make it happier and more rewarding. Spirit says we did not come into this life to be constantly unhappy and unfulfilled. Sometimes, we need to make some solid, but difficult changes in our lives to achieve a truly happy life. Start making those changes today.
Of course, for many people the pressures and responsibilities of daily makes it difficult to find the time to contemplate your own happiness, or lack thereof… let alone figuring out what truly makes you happy. However, if you make the effort to take a step back to deal with your happiness, you may soon find that juggling all those daily obligations and challenges becomes a little easier to manage. It is amazing how much one can handle if you are a little more happy!

To get yourself off to a good start, here are some practical things you can do in the meantime, while you figure out your own happiness formula.
Get organized. Organize and order your life to better balance your day. Figure out how you can make your daily life easier and free up some time for your happiness project. Draw up a chart, set a schedule, get into a routine, set reminders.
Set boundaries. This is an important one. Happy people have healthy boundaries with the people around them. They do not allow others to steal their energy or take advantage of them.
Find Solitude. Spend some quality ‘alone time’ whenever possible. It is very important to have time by yourself to rest and refuel. If you are not rested then, the tank is empty, and you will be no good to anyone else. Take a break and have some ‘me time.’
Sleep More. Sleep is one of the most underestimated keys to a better quality of life. A sleep-deprived zombie cannot possibly feel happy.
Express Yourself. Pursue at least one activity, interest or hobby outside your daily routine of family, career and relationship. Join an art class, learn to bake, join a hiking group or yoga class, or sign up for a book club. Recreation and fun are essential for our mental health and personal fulfillment.
Making all of the above happen is easier that you might think. By making time for you, you create space for more happiness in your life and you will have more time and energy to be there for others.
