You Are Never Alone

I receive many calls from clients who are feeling terribly isolated and lonely. And ‘lonely’ does not automatically imply being alone. Even while we may be constantly surrounded by people, one can still feel extremely alone. Having lots of people around does not guarantee meaningful connection or a sense of belonging.

I always remind my clients that if they only consider how much spirit is constantly around us, they will never feel alone again. Tuning into these soul energies around us is a great comfort and can even be a life saver.

Our departed loved ones and our spirit guides are around us all the time, but especially present when we are going through a challenging or painful time. Whether we are aware of their presence, or not, they are there.

Through meditation and other spiritual practices, we can raise our vibration and make it easier for us to feel their presence, and even ‘hear’ them. All interdimensional communication is telepathic. We just need to tune in to a higher vibration to meet them halfway.

Spirit is in a different dimension. Their energy is very fast and ours are very slow. They need to slow their vibration down and we need to raise ours in order to meet in the middle and communicate.

Many years ago, a friend’s father passed. Her dad soon after came to me in a dream. He was giving me several messages he wanted me to relay to her, but I was having a very hard time understanding what he was saying. The messages were coming in too fast. To my shock and surprise her dad then became impatient with me! In fact, he was quite annoyed.

Your guides want you to win: they are the champions of your causes, the menders of your heartaches, the compass offering alternate directions when you’re stuck in traffic. And when you consider how complicated life can be, wouldn’t it be crazy if we tried to do the whole thing alone? ~ Deganit Nuur

“Young lady, you haven’t been doing your meditation,” he scolded me. “You have been neglecting your spiritual work. This is why you are unable to understand me.”

Then the dream changed with him recording his message my voicemail answering machine (this was before cell phones). I then dreamt that I was able to listen back and understand the voice message, by slowing it down and playing it at half speed. She was later very comforted by her dad’s message.

And he was right – I had not been doing my spiritual work.

I had only met him once, so why did my friend’s father come to me, instead of her or someone close to him? I suspect it was because her family is very dogmatically religious, and they believe it is evil to communicate with those in the afterlife. Her dad then searched the energy around her and found I was medium, so he reached out to me.

Some spirit guides have been with you for your entire life, even since before you were born. Others came on your team as you needed them at different times in your life, and you can use your free will to request more spirit guides still ~ Tanya Carroll Richardson

Always remember that your loved ones on the other side can hear you and they are there, even if you feel you not able to communicate with them. Talk to them out loud. Know that they always hear you.

However, as much as they can support, guide, and protect us, they cannot interfere with our free will or our soul contract. Whatever extreme challenges we signed up for in this lifetime, the only way to get through it is with grace, faith, hope and integrity – and as much dignity as humanly possible.

But your guides and loved ones are with you and will give you light, love and strength. Know that you are never alone. You are at all times surrounded by love and light. Always.
