The Amazing Law Of Vibration
There are seven universal laws that govern the universe and all that exists within it. By understanding and applying the principles of these laws, we can create a more positive, empowered and fulfilling life for ourselves.
The first three laws are known as the Higher Immutable Laws, which means that they are fundamental metaphysical principles that are absolute and eternal. They have always existed and are always at work, whether we are aware of them or not. They also cannot be changed or transcended in any way, whether we like it or not.
The three immutable universal laws are:
The Law of Mentalism: Everything is mind, the universe is conscious.
The Law of Correspondence: As above, so below; as below, so above; as within, so without.
The Law of Vibration: Everything is energy in constant motion, vibrating at different frequencies.
The remaining four laws are the lower mutable laws, meaning they are adaptable or changeable and can be influenced, altered or transcended by our thoughts, beliefs and actions to create a more ideal existence.
The law of vibration is universal. It governs everything from the thoughts we think to the food we eat to the people we attract into our lives ~ Abraham-Hicks
The Law of Polarity: Everything is dual; everything has poles. Everything has an equal opposite that is necessary for the existence of the other.
The Law of Rhythm: Everything has a natural rhythm and pattern and there is a constant ebb and flow of energy like a pendulum. This includes the cycles of nature, the seasons, and the cycles of life. Everything has its tides, its rise and fall.
The Law of Cause and Effect: Every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause. Nothing happens by chance, and while there are many levels of causation, nothing escapes this law. Every thought or action has a reaction or consequence.
The Law of Gender: Everything has both masculine and feminine aspects, qualities or traits. These two gender principles are in constant interaction for the purpose of creation and regeneration.
The Seven Universal Laws are also known as the Hermetic Laws of the Universe. They are believed to have originated from mystical teachings from Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece dating back more than 5,000 years. The principles of the Seven Universal Laws were popularized by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a late 19th century esoteric organization dedicated to the study of metaphysics, the occult, and paranormal phenomena.
You may be wondering why there is no mention of the much more famous Law of Attraction as one of these Hermetic Universal Laws? This is because the Law of Attraction is actually a broader concept that encompasses all the principles of the Seven Hermetic Laws, but especially the Law of Vibration.
The concept of the Law of Attraction has been around for centuries and has its roots in various philosophical, religious and spiritual traditions. The idea that “like attracts like” can be traced back to ancient teachings of Buddhism and Christianity. However, the term “Law of Attraction” was not used until the late 19th century, when it was popularized by the New Thought movement.
New Thought is a spiritual movement that emerged in the United States a century ago. It is based on the belief that our thoughts have a powerful effect on our lives and that positive thinking can lead to positive results. The New Thought movement is based on several esoteric and mystical traditions, including Kabbalah, Hermeticism and Rosicrucianism. The Law of Attraction is one of the key concepts of the New Thought movement and has been popularized by authors such as William Walker Atkinson and Wallace Wattles.

The Amazing Law Of Vibration
Of the seven universal laws, my personal favorite is the Law of Vibration, also known as the Law of Resonance. It appeals to me as a psychic practitioner and manifestation coach for several reasons.
First of all, energy vibration and resonance are fundamental principles that underpin all the other laws. Even if one is not aware or fully informed about the other universal laws, the Law of Vibration represents and explains it all in my view.
The Law of Vibration is also the basis of the well-known Law of Attraction. It is, in my opinion, the key universal law that makes the Law of Attraction work. According to the Law of Vibration, we are all essentially energy manifestations vibrating at different frequencies (everything is energy vibration). The energy frequency we emit resonates with and attracts to us those things that vibrate at the same frequency.
So, if we constantly have negative thoughts and a pessimistic mindset, we will attract more negative results and experiences into our lives. Our thoughts (energy) become things (matter). Conversely, if we focus on positive thoughts and beliefs, we will attract more positive experiences. When we raise our vibrational frequency by focusing on positive thoughts and feelings, we create an energetic resonance with the things we desire. This resonance attracts those things to us and we experience them in our lives.
The Science Of Energy Vibration
What makes the Law of Vibration even more appealing is the fact that its principles have been validated to some extent by modern science, making it more accessible and user-friendly to the modern metaphysical practitioner and her clients or students.
While science has not definitively proven that “everything is vibrating energy,” it has provided compelling evidence to suggest that this may very well be the case.
So far, science has shown us that at the most fundamental level, all matter (physical reality) is made up of subatomic particles such as electrons, protons, and neutrons. These particles are governed by the laws of quantum mechanics, which describe them as having wave-particle duality. This means that they can behave like both particles and waves (they are both physical matter and metaphysical energy), and their behavior is governed by probabilities rather than certainties (they can manifest in different ways).
A famous quantum physics discovery, known as the double-slit experiment, specifically suggests that our consciousness (energy) plays a role in shaping our reality (matter). This laboratory experiment demonstrates how the act of consciously observing subatomic particles can affect their behavior, determining whether they will behave as particles (matter) or as waves (energy). This supports the notion of the Law of Vibration, that our thoughts and intentions determine our vibrational frequency, which in turn creates reality and attracts our life experiences through resonance.
The differences between different manifestations of matter, energy, mind, and even spirit, result largely from varying rates of vibration. From the all, which is pure spirit, down to the grossest form of matter, all is in vibration ~ The Kybalion
Another famous experiment that supports the idea that everything is energy is the photoelectric effect. In this experiment, electrons are emitted from a metal when it is exposed to light. The energy of the emitted electrons is proportional to the frequency of the light, but not to its intensity. This can only be explained if light is not only a wave of energy, but also a particle (matter) of energy, called a photon.
Another experiment that supports this idea is the Casimir effect. This experiment shows that two closely spaced plates will attract each other, even in a vacuum. This is because the fluctuations in the electromagnetic field between the plates create a pressure that pushes the plates together. This effect can only be explained if the electromagnetic field is not just a wave of energy, but also a particle of energy called a virtual photon.
Based on these and other experiments, it is reasonable to conclude that energy is the fundamental substance of the universe. Matter is simply a manifestation of energy, and even the empty space between particles is not really empty, but filled with energy fields. This view of the universe is also called energyism or panpsychism.
Energy Vibration In Everyday Life
What I like most about the Law of Vibration is that it is such a powerful practical tool for personal and spiritual growth and transformation. By understanding the Law of Vibration, you can learn to raise your energy vibration to attract positive experiences and more abundance into your life. This law can also be used to heal us physically and emotionally through various methods of energy healing such as Reiki, acupuncture and crystal healing. It can also connect us to God, Source, Spirit, the Divine in ways we have never before imagined.
The law of vibration affects our daily lives in many noticeable and practical ways:
RELATIONSHIPS
For example, when we vibrate at a higher, more positive frequency, we are more likely to attract positive and supportive relationships into our lives. We are also more likely to be open to new possibilities and to see the good in others. Conversely, when we vibrate at a lower frequency, we are more likely to attract negative and toxic relationships. We may also be more likely to attract people who are not supportive of our goals and dreams.
Have you ever felt that you were not on the same wavelength as a certain person? I know I have. What is really meant by “wavelength” is the vibration that the other person is emitting that doesn’t match or resonate with yours. We vibrate and attract like magnets who and what we really are, be it negative or positive. In turn, the universe responds with an equal outcome or encounter that matches the vibration we put out there.
HEALTH
Our mental energy has a profound effect on our physical health. When we are stressed, worried, negative, cynical, and toxic in our thinking, our bodies release hormones that weaken our immune systems and make us more susceptible to illness and disease. Conversely, when we are positive, hopeful, empowered, and above all grateful in our outlook and thinking, our bodies release hormones that strengthen our immune system and promote overall well-being.
Louise Hay, the famous spiritual author and motivational speaker, was a strong proponent of the power of positive thinking and its impact on our physical health. She believed that our thoughts and beliefs can create or attract disease into our lives, and that by changing our thoughts, we can change our health outcomes. In her best-selling book, You Can Heal Your Life, Hay outlined a process for identifying and transforming negative thoughts and beliefs that contribute to physical illness.
It is truly amazing what changing your thought processes can do for your health! According to a 2020 scientific meta-analysis published in JAMA Psychiatry, certain types of therapy, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and group therapy, can strengthen the immune system. In fact, cognitive behavioral therapy may do as much good as a drug to reduce inflammation in people with autoimmune disorders, and at a much lower cost. The study found that cognitive therapy led to a 15% improvement in positive immune system function, and these improvements persisted for at least six months after treatment.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts and behaviors can affect our emotions, and our emotions can affect our thoughts and behaviors. This can create a cycle of negative thoughts and behaviors that can be difficult to break.
In addition, research has shown that negative emotions, major life stressors, and too little social support can trigger inflammation, which is a sign that the immune system is fighting an enemy. If this battle is waged every day for years, it can increase your risk of conditions such as heart disease, dementia, and stroke. Therefore, it is important to maintain a positive mindset and take steps to raise your energy vibration with positive, empowered thinking.
SUCCESS
Surely you have met people who seem to attract a never-ending stream of bad luck, even though they are lovely individuals. Or have you met other people who have not received the kind of luck they deserve? What is the difference? Their different vibrations are the answer, and the good news is that even a low or negative vibration can be changed for the better!
Renowned spiritual teacher Wayne Dyer said, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. This quote captures the essence of the Law of Vibration and the metaphysical power of our thoughts and beliefs to shape our reality. Dyer believed that our thoughts are not just fleeting reflections of our experiences; they are creative forces that shape our experiences.
Our ability to manifest our desires is directly related to our vibrational energy frequency. When we vibrate at a high frequency, we are more likely to attract opportunities and outcomes that help us succeed. Conversely, when we vibrate at a low frequency, we are more likely to procrastinate, give up on our goals, and attract obstacles and setbacks.
To manifest more success in our lives, we need to change the way we think. When we make this kind of paradigm shift, we change our energy vibration.
HAPPINESS
The law of vibration affects our overall happiness and sense of fulfillment every day. When we vibrate at a high frequency, we are more likely to experience joy, peace and contentment. We are also more likely to feel connected to our purpose in life and grateful for the things we have. Conversely, when we vibrate at a low frequency, we are more likely to experience sadness, anger, and dissatisfaction. We feel disconnected from our purpose and feel that we are not living up to our full potential.
By understanding and applying the Law of Vibration, we can create a life that is more positive, fulfilling and successful. We can also attract more love, abundance and happiness into our lives.
SPIRITUAL GROWTH
The law of vibration serves as a compass for our spiritual journey. By understanding its principles, we can consciously cultivate higher vibrational states, leading to inner peace, manifestation of our desires, and a deeper connection to our spiritual essence and the universe itself.
The law of vibration also fosters a deeper understanding of our connection to the universal consciousness. As we raise our vibration through spiritual practices, such as affirmation, prayer, visualized meditation, energy work, ritual and crystal healing, we resonate with the higher frequencies of love, compassion, and unity. This connects us with the interconnectedness of all beings and realigns us with our spiritual origins as children of the divine mind, fostering inner peace, harmony and a more fulfilling and meaningful spiritual life.
