Why Take A Psychic Development Class?

I am planning to take another psychic development class this May, as well as teach a similar class in the same month. But why would I need to take such a class, while I am already working as a professional psychic medium?

The answer is simple: if I learn one new thing from another spiritual teacher, that can be passed along for the benefit of my clients, it is definitely worth my time and effort. And, of course, some of us simply enjoy being lifelong students!

It doesn’t matter the length of time a person has been a professional. A little tune-up is always a good thing. Taking lots of different classes usually boost a person’s confidence.

Yes, I do believe you can teach ‘old dogs new tricks.’ It is always nice to meet new colleagues in the metaphysical field and have inspiring discussions on ways to improve the standards and professionalism of our work.

Whenever my daily work becomes a little lackluster, I always know it’s time to ‘get out of the water’ and take a class or attend a seminar or workshop. It keeps me excited about the work I do. It is great when you learn a new technique or method that can improve your service to others.

Professional psychic mediums always want to better the level of their work. Yes, no matter how ‘good’ one is, there is always another level to reach. Always looking for a way to validate evidence from spirit and confirm that indeed life goes on after our spirit leaves the physical body.

Sometimes I learn unexpected lessons, instead of what the class promised to teach, for example how not to do things. One very over-priced, expensive class taught me a very valuable lesson about how I would not want to present my profession to students!

It is important to be comfortable teaching with integrity and a code of ethics, but no one way is the only way. Take many classes and decide what works for you. There are many ways to achieve the same goals and outcomes.

It is always good to be in a class with like-minded people. Many people who meet in a psychic development class or mediumship circle, remain friends for life. When practicing with other people, and the information you are receiving is right on, helping them heal is rewarding.

Most people that become professional mediums have had some contact with spirit all their life, even if it was not recognized at the time. Even if they have been doing the work a long time, when they have that ‘ah hah’ moment with spirit, it is beautiful.

Like any muscle, when used more frequently, it gets stronger and better. It is an inner talent never lost. Some people just don’t trust it as much as they did when they were a child. With all technology we have today, a lot of people trust their smart phones more than their own inner guidance system.

Psychic Mediums from all over the world are trained similar but different. That is a good reason to take several classes, to see what way of doing the work resonates with you. Develop your own code of ethics. Some classes offer certifications others give certification of class completion. Whatever class you choose to take, you will always learn something.
