Meditation The Key To Mental Freedom
When we allow our minds to dwell too often on our past, or obsessively contemplate our future, we rob ourselves of the enjoyment of the moment.
Being fully present is the key to happiness. Being fully awake and aware of what is going on around us, in the here and now, is true mental freedom, in my opinion.
When I meditate, and focus only on my breath, I get to a point where I am free of thought. I can then completely allow all thoughts to come and go.. observed, but not noticed. It is then when I arrive at my “happy place”. I love to arrive at this inner place I so love. It’s a place of complete awareness, serenity and bliss; there really is nothing like it.
After my morning meditation I can go about the rest of my day without any ‘blinders’. The blinds to my mind have been pulled up and I can then connect with those that are on the same frequency as myself.

There is much research that suggests we haven’t even touched the surface of what our minds are truly capable of. I believe we open up several different portals in our minds when we spend time in meditation and solitude.
Every person that is quick to anger, or is known for judging others or easily jumping to conclusions and taking things personally, can benefit from moments of quiet contemplation. Those often using vulgar language or who love to argue, can also benefit from meditating.
Frequent mediation soon teaches negative, angry people that they are actually existing on a lower energy frequency, untouched like the Tarot card known as “The Fool”. When you are awake and alive with awareness you are “The Magician,” not the Fool!
Think about it, you can probably tell easily who the fools and who the magicians are in and around your life. Through meditation you get to not only arrive and live as a magician, but you can exist in the moment instead of rehashing your past, or fearing your future. You can begin to enjoy your life in a way you have never before. Meditation is the best gift you can give yourself and your loved ones.
