Yin And Yang Balance The Key To Well-Being

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comThere is an ancient belief system that everything can be seen in one’s face. Your emotional state, your physical state, warnings, strengths and weaknesses. I have been studying this philosophy for many years and have found it to be very helpful when observing my own physical well-being, but also that of my clients and students.

For instance, your circulation can be observed in the forehead and the nervous system in the pupils, while the kidneys can be seen under your eyes. The heart is at the tip of the nose, the sexual organs above the upper lip and the stomach is on the  upper lip.

The first 28 days after conception is the time when the top portion of the embryo’s face develops. If drugs or medications are taken by the mother during this time, it can cause a problem throughout the person’s life span. This is also the time that birth marks are formed. Often birth marks can be related to trauma and injury from past lives, but they can also be newly formed from the intake of foods and toxins from the mother.

There are mystically in our faces certain characters which carry in them the motto of our souls, wherein he that cannot read A, B, C may read our natures ~ Sir Thomas Browne

During the next 63 days, the middle section of the face is developed. At 91 days all of the facial structures have been developed. The bottom section of the face develops most during the remaining 189 days before gestation. Note that all of the developmental periods mentioned (7, 21, 63 and 189 days) increase in the ratio of one to three.

Since pregnancy lasts nine months, we pass a total of three seasons inside the womb. Babies conceived in Winter, carried in Spring and born in Summer are more practical and grounded. Babies conceived in Autumn, carried in Winter and born in  Spring, are more intuitive, romantic and sensitive. Babies conceived in Summer, carried in Autumn and born in Winter, are intellectual and “thinkers”. Babies conceived in Spring, carried in Summer and born in Autumn are active and more athletic, and physically ambitious.

It is essential that the mother eat a balanced mix of both Yin and Yang foods during her pregnancy. Yang foods create a more horizontal face structure. Everything in life is about balance. Yin foods create a more vertical facial structure. The food we eat translates into energy, and has a profound impact on our internal healing mechanisms.

Too many animal foods (Yang) can create eyebrows and eyes too close together. Yang foods include, for example, beef, pork, eggs, poultry and red meat fish. Nearly all animal foods are Yang. Saltiness is a yang characteristic. Any form of salt, caviar, and aged salty cheeses are very Yang foods.

Applying the principles of yin and yang properly is a key idea in nutritional balancing science.  It is one of the main differences between nutritional balancing and most other healing systems.  This is not a new idea, but its application in modern Western health care is rather new ~ Lawrence Wilson

Too many yin foods can create eyebrows or eyes set too far apart, as well as hare lips or clefts. Yin foods include, for example, bread, pasta, pastries, sweet soft cheeses, dairy and sugar. With the exception of seaweed, all fruits and vegetables are Yin foods. The sweeter the food is, the more Yin energy it holds.

Most of us are unbalanced. We work too hard, don’t get enough rest, have too much stress in our lives, and often don’t eat a balanced diet. This will show up in our eyes, our skin and on our face. When we’re young, our bodies manage to correct imbalances and use our natural healing tools to repair most damage. However, if we continue to push the limits, ignoring our body’s signals, such as signs in the face, immune system issues such as colds, problems with sleep and fatigue, we lose our ability to heal as quickly as we once did.

The key to health, and to growing old gracefully, really is all about balance. Balancing the Yin and Yang foods we eat, and balancing relaxation with activity.
