Difference Between ‘Psychic’ and ‘Intuitive’
Although the difference is subtle, there is a fundamental difference between being ‘psychic’ as opposed to being ‘intuitive’.
The term ‘psychic’ refers to having a special sensory system, better known as a psychic sensory system or chakratic sensory system. This sensory ability enables you to ‘get’ or ‘perceive’ information. Much information can be derived through psychic perception.
Unfortunately, the shadow-side of having such a psychic sensory system is your potential entanglement with unwanted energy. ‘Getting’ information automatically implies that the source is outside yourself, and you are thus vulnerable to taking on what is not yours. You may also be exposed to out of balance power distortions.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift – Albert Einstein
The term ‘intuitive’, on the other hand, refers to a linking of the intuitive circuit. This circuit enables you to ‘have’ information, instead of having to rely on the validity of information from an external source.
An intuitive person simply has it. You have to have knowingness, not faith or trust. The intuitive chain links the third eye to the heart chakra. This allows for neutrality, so that you don’t get entangled in the energy. Neutrality is a place in your heart.
Being intuitive is to be a better observer, not an evaluator. Don’t think or judge. Listen. Intuition is knowingness and you are simply the reporter.

If you are truly skilled at intuitive, then you will find yourself developing psychic (because it is the flowering of the higher senses).
If you are psychic your higher senses will not feel complete working only on 3/4 of your being, and you’ll feel it.
this is one reason the two can be easily confused. 🙂
Oh … the other thing is, those without a connection (sense, faith, etc) in the higher self/higher beings will not be able to develop the senses to sense them.
Listening to music won’t improve your eyesight if you forever bandage your eyes. No amount of microphones or acoustics will improve sight. to make a tool to sense something the method underlying the sense must be developed – those experts without sight have no use for cameras – and will ridicule those who speak of graphic art. The true experts without sight, learn that others can see.
So we always need a connection with the higher being – be it separate or connected, or just a better sense of our own self.
