The fixed air sign energy of Aquarius will be intensely felt this month with Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, as well as asteroid Pallas, all gathering to create a great stellium in the sign of Aquarius. A stellium occurs when three or more planets cluster together in a single zodiac sign to create an unusual energy blend. To further fan the flames, Mercury if currently also in retrograde.
It remains to be seen exactly how this major stellium will affect both global events and our personal lives, but whatever the impact…it will be profound, progressive, even groundbreaking. Wherever this stellium lands in your chart this month, it will invite deep thought, inspired new ideas and the urge to innovate and be experimental in those aspects of your life. However, be careful not to let the stubborn, obsessive side of Aquarius rule your mental state. If you were born under one of the fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, you can expect to be especially impacted by this seven planet cluster. To make things even more demanding, this week starts off with the planets taking sides, as the free-wheeling Aquarius Sun squares off with staid and steady Mars in Taurus. Avoiding the urge to stand your ground, and deciding who’s right and who’s wrong, will be essential this week, as the lines get blurred and realities shift. We’ve got a full parade of planetary aspects going on this week, including the Sagittarius New Moon Solar Eclipse, as well as Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury all changing signs. The Sagittarius New Moon Solar Eclipse greets us first this morning, kicking off a new six-month cycle of renewed focus, new beginnings and unexpected opportunities.
This is a powerful time to set new intentions for manifestations of abundance in your life. Sagittarius is all about justice, fairness and light-hearted fun, perfect for the holidays and New Year that is just around the corner. We may soon find ourselves immersed in speculating about what to expect from 2021, but first, there’s the holiday celebrations to contend with!
Venus moves into Sagittarius tomorrow, amplifying the holidays and social interaction. Saturn moves into Aquarius on Wednesday, urging us to break free of tradition or restrictions, and to do more of our own thing over the next six months. Things will flow along fairly quietly this week, as we move through the second half of the lunar eclipse. Today is however a great time to get your ducks in a row. Using the Virgo Moon to plunge into detailed work and organizational projects will prove fruitful, so take the opportunity today to careful go over your holiday budget, plan that party or celebration, or finalize your holiday travel arrangements. With Christmas only a few weeks away, it’s time to get down to business anyway!
Wednesday and Thursday will be good days to restore balance, both within and without, under the Libra Moon. So, take a break from all the end of year activity to just relax and breathe!
The Scorpio Moon will reign on Friday and Saturday, calling for more social activity and spiritual reflection. Don’t worry if you can’t get to everything on your list early in the week, as Sunday’s Sagittarius Moon will have you moving at lightning speed through all your chores and obligations.

Dolly Parton is no doubt a national treasure and international superstar, always in our hearts, and lately also in the news headlines – and this inquisitive astrologer wanted to know why.
So, I took the liberty of looking into Ms Parton’s Profection Year – an astrology technique I like to use for a voyeuristic peek into what’s going on in the stars of our favorite stars.
To get started, I investigated her natal chart, which is basically the user manual or blueprint each of us is given at birth. Dolly was born with, as one might expect, some highly fortunate planetary positions in her chart.
She has her Venus and Moon in exalted signs, and her Jupiter – that larger-than-life reward-giver – in a very dignified position too!
Her birth chart predicts that she was going to go far in life. And quite easily, too. It even suggests that she might be put up on a pedestal of admiration by many. Hindsight certainly is 2020.
According to her chart, however, Dolly has earned every ounce of adulation she’s received. Her Sun in Capricorn, and her Virgo Rising, make her a hard worker who’s climbed her way to the top. She has an unstoppable genius, due to her Mercury in Aquarius, and a Mercury chart ruler that is planted firmly in her 6th house of tough grind and perseverance.
It’s really no surprise that Mercury – a versatile, peculiar planet – is ruling her artistry and song writing prowess. And her unique voice (Mercury) is unlike any other (Aquarius).
Astrological Forecast November 30 – December 6, 2020
A lunar eclipse greets us today, as the Gemini Moon (also known as the Frosty Moon) waxes full and marks the first of two eclipses this month, along with a significant shift in direction for the next six months. Eclipses tend to come in pairs, one lunar and one solar, and the solar eclipse will occur in two weeks, on Monday, December 14th. During this cycle, we need to step back and go within to prepare for new beginnings, release the past, and consider a new focus for the start of 2021. This week’s lunar eclipse encourages us to put aside our emotions, and look more closely at the tangible, practical aspects of our lives.
Mercury will move into Sagittarius tomorrow, turning our thoughts to the coming holiday season. Under Wednesday and Thursday’s Cancer Moon, we may feel inspired to begin decorating our homes for the celebrations ahead or, at the very least, take a closer look at creating more flow and harmony in our surroundings. The remainder of the week unfolds under a Leo Moon, calling us to practice care and generosity not only with those around us, but also with ourselves. It’s easy to forget to take care of ourselves during the astrological eclipses, so the most important thing we can do this weekend will be to put ourselves first!
Astrological Forecast November 23 – 29, 2020
The only significant astrological event on the agenda this week is Neptune turning direct on Saturday, after a five month retrograde cycle. Since it’s a subtle aspect, it should pass almost unnoticed! Although Neptune is a karmic planet that tends to move in the background, it has a higher purpose to direct us spiritually, allowing us to connect with our higher self, as well as our magical powers. As it shifts direction, this is a wonderful time to explore our intuitive, psychic and mystical gifts.
It may feel like we’re running in circles under today’s Pisces Moon, but as it grounds itself in Aries tomorrow, we’ll have three days to gather our wits about us, and prepare for Thanksgiving and the holiday weekend. We’ll greet the traditional ‘Black Friday’ shopping rush under a Taurus Moon, which bodes well for finding great bargains or regrouping after over-doing it on Thursday.
Our best bet this weekend is to focus on intellectual and social pursuits, as the Neptune shift on Saturday and the Gemini Moon on Sunday encourages thinking and dreaming big!
