Transform Your Life One Step At A Time
Knowing when to make that much needed change in your life can be daunting and very confusing. We often feel this need for change when we already have a lot going on. We tend to also overthink things and then feel overwhelmed, or even paralyzed with anxiety or fear.
Once you get into this kind of ‘stuck’ pattern, nothing seems to get done or resolved. No choices or decisions are made. In turn, this causes even more unhappiness, distress, and turmoil in your life. We all have a tendency to get in our own way.
Over the years of working with many clients in this situation, spirit has always made one thing very clear: it always starts with a firm choice or decision. You don’t have to act on it immediately, but it instantly begins to shift your energy in a new direction, or towards a long-term solution.
Indecision, fear, or lack of commitment to a clear vision for the future is first and foremost what keeps many people stuck indefinitely in the stagnant energy loop of an unhappy, unfulfilled life.
Once you have made up your mind about what you intend to achieve or which direction you wish to go, you gain more clarity and become calmer and more grounded to start taking baby steps forward. Then you can begin to resolve the situation one step at a time with spirit’s support.
To get started consider a simple, step-by-step approach to make break the process down into smaller steps that will be less overwhelming and more attainable.

1. Begin by taking your daily spiritual practice to a more proactive, empowered level. Pray, meditate, journal, divine, chant, visualize…whatever works best for you. Ask spirit to guide you on your path of personal transformation and self-fulfillment going forward.
2. Do some soul-searching and carefully contemplate what you really want (not what you don’t want). Don’t focus on what is not working, or what might still go wrong. Focus instead exclusively on the ‘good stuff.’ Get clarity about what you truly want or where you want to go in your life.
3. Decide once and for all what change you are going to make. Set a firm, ultimate end goal. Choose the long-term outcome you are aiming for and commit to it by setting a clear intention. You don’t have to have all the details figured out yet, you just need to figure out what the final destination is.
4. Start chipping away at the long-term goal by breaking it down into smaller, interim goals and action steps. Think of it as stepping stones across the magical waters of transformation to the other side. Don’t just think it. Thoughts and ideas only become a real action plan once we write them down. So, make a list of achievable, short-term steps that will lead you to the final outcome. Focus on the things you can control, not what might go wrong, or what others might do, or not do.
5. Now set out to accomplish one goal or one step at a time. Meanwhile maintain your daily spiritual practice, as this will strengthen you inner guidance and help to keep you calm, grounded and centered, especially when you encounter hurdles and obstacles along the way.
6. Once you achieve one step, check it off your list, and then move forward with the next one.
7. Before you know it, you will wake up one morning and realize that you have finally reached your destination and accomplished the life transformation you have been dreaming of!

If you find yourself coming up against a brick wall along the way, then remind yourself that everything happens for a reason for your highest good. Look at alternatives, approach the situation from a different angle, ask for help. There is always a solution or a couple of different ways around any problem.
Spirit will guide you and show you the way. Just keep calm and keep pushing forward. Do not let anyone or anything get in your way of making it happen, even if it takes longer or requires some additional steps or even personal sacrifices you did not anicipate. You can and will do it, just stay strong and keep believing. Know that spirit has your back, every step of the way.
