Astrology Forecast October 9 – 15, 2023
Libra energies are at a high point as we move towards a Libra New Moon / Solar Eclipse this Saturday. We will see evidence of this aspect throughout the week. Pluto will also be going direct after five months in Capricorn, clearing out limitations and setting us on a new path to accomplishment. It may take us a few weeks to notice the shift, but rest assured, change is coming!
A Leo Moon square to Uranus in Taurus may cause us to feel irritable and moody this afternoon. Unexpected changes may also happen, so stay centered and do not make rash decisions.
The Moon will move through Virgo tomorrow through Thursday, shifting our focus to detail work, organization and idealism.
Wednesday morning will be great for social advancement and business success as the Virgo Moon trines Jupiter in Taurus. We will have an optimistic outlook on life and our social skills will be in high gear. The perfect opportunity to make friends and influence people!
Mars moves into Scorpio on Thursday, and while the planet of assertiveness does not always work well in water signs, this two-month cycle will work to unearth soulful longings and intuitive insights that will be crucial to our forward movement in 2024.
Friday’s Libra Moon and Saturday’s Libra New Moon / Solar Eclipse herald more new beginnings, so be sure to make a New Moon wish for anything you hold dear. Eclipses come in pairs, and the next one, a lunar eclipse, will occur on October 28th, beginning a new six-month cycle of focus for us all.
Karmic events are likely on Sunday, when the Moon enters Scorpio, piquing our curiosity. Old connections can pop up out of nowhere, and old memories are a reminder to pay close attention – anything can happen!
Astrology Forecast May 1 – 7, 2023
With Pluto turning retrograde today and a Scorpio Lunar Eclipse waxing full on Friday, this could prove a challenging week. Patience, flexibility, and counting to ten will be essential to getting through the week unscathed.
We may however not notice the Pluto shift today, since it is an outer planet, but the Virgo Moon could bring out our intense side. The more we resist this change, the harder things may become, so try to move through the day with an open mind and heart.
The Libra Moon on Tuesday and Wednesday will create a more gentle flow of energy mid-week, allowing us to stand back and observe rather than act. Viewing things from a more balanced perspective will keep you grounded and on track.
The Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse on Friday could create much conflict, so the main thing will be to choose our battles wisely. When in doubt, stay out of the drama it may stimulate. Keep in mind that Scorpio is a sign that can cast much fear and doubt, which may or may not be real. So, pay close attention to whatever information you receive and then bide your time for at least a few days before you act on any of it. On an up note, this can also create a time of release, when we can let go of misguided notions or efforts we’ve been making that keep us going around in circles.
The week ends on a sweeter note, when Venus moves into the heartwarming sign of Cancer and turns our attention to home and family for the next four weeks.
The Empowering Symbolism Of The World Card
The World card in the Tarot remains one of my firm favorites. I am all for personal and spiritual growth, the completion of cycles, and new beginnings. The World represents exactly that: the ending of a cycle and pause in life, before the next major cycle begins with the fool.
The journey from the new beginnings of The Fool to the fulfilling endings of The World is a constant evolutionary process in our everyday lives that is represented by the sequence of the 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot. The World is the 22nd trump and therefore final card of the Major Arcana.
I have reflected on the imagery of the Rider-Waite version of this Tarot card in great detail. Rider-Waite is probably the most popular and universally recognized Tarot deck. The illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith at first glance appear simple, but the details and backgrounds feature abundant mystical symbolism.
The World pictures an empowered figure within a wreath – traditionally a symbol of victory, success, achievement, and eternal life. The figure holds a wand in each hand, which is reminiscent of the Magician card and the Two of Wands. However, while The Magician holds only one wand, the two wands in the The World card represents fulfillment, wholeness, balance and coming full circle.
The card is framed by four animals on the diagonal. The depiction of these four creatures parallels the four animal symbols used in Christian art to represent the four Evangelists, namely Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The four animals also represent the zodiac signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, the four fixed signs in Western Astrology, which in turn represent the classical four elements of Earth, Fire, Water and Air.

Rarely are we compatible with the sun signs preceding or following our own sign in the zodiac, even though they flow into one another. Exceptions to this guideline are the Fire and Earth signs: Aries with Taurus, Leo with Virgo, and Sagittarius with Capricorn, but only if the fire sign partner has distinct personality traits of the divine feminine and the earth sign partner tends more towards the divine masculine.
Opposites Rarely Attract

Astrology Forecast October 24 – 30, 2022
Today’s Libra Moon sets the scene with an air of balance and harmony. The Libra Moon’s trine with Saturn in Aquarius this morning, as well as its conjunction with Mercury in Libra by midday, makes today an excellent time to conduct business, with productive meetings, effortless financial decisions and powerful sales presentations inspired by mental sharpness and sound judgment.
The highlights of this week are tomorrow’s Scorpio New Moon and a Solar Eclipse. The first of two eclipses (the second occurring in Taurus on November 8th), this celestial event opens the door to change, calling for us to go internal for a few weeks to look more closely at our feelings, our spiritual beliefs, and our intentions for the future.
The Moon will continue to wade through Scorpio on Wednesday, setting the tone for our spiritual transformation.
