Your Divine Talent Is A Gift To The World
Talent competitions on television are spiritually intriguing. Although I do not watch much reality TV, I do see video clips of talented performers on my social media newsfeeds from time to time. And I am often in awe of the deeper spiritual implications of their remarkable talent.
I have noticed in recent years, for example, a prevalence of very gifted young artists who sing, dance and play instruments, some with no formal training, as if they have many years of experience. There are youngsters who look like the kid next door, but when they perform, they have the star quality of professional artists who have had years of training.
I believe these gifted youngsters were born with gifts they brought with them from past life incarnations. I further believe they are spiritual conduits who are instrumental in helping to raise the vibration on this planet.
One of my recent favorite clips is of 13-year-old Malakai Bayoh singing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Pie Jesu on Britain’s Got Talent. He truly has the voice of an angel, and you can palpably feel the energy of the audience in absolute awe as they watch him perform. It is said he sings at the 963 Hz Solfeggio frequency, also known as the ‘frequency of divine harmony’ or the ‘sound of the crown chakra.’
According to meditation teacher Griff Williams, the Solfeggio Frequency Scale is an ancient musical scale comprising nine original sound healing frequencies ranging from 174 Hz to 963 Hz that are energetically powerful and spiritually uplifting.
Our spiritual gifts were not given for your own benefit but for the benefit of others, just as other people were given gifts for your benefit ~ Rick Warren
The 963 Hz Solfeggio frequency is associated with higher spiritual development. This miracle tone offers many metaphysical benefits. It opens the crown chakra, awakens intuition, connects us to our higher self, uplifts the spirit, reduces anxiety and depression, and promotes relaxation and inner peace. It also activates the pineal gland, which is traditionally considered to be the seat of the third eye. In various spiritual wisdom traditions it is believed the pineal gland connects the physical and spiritual realms.
My dad once raised an interesting question about singers with a God-given talent, after one of our spontaneous singing sessions driving in the car one day. “If the voice boxes of many people were to be structurally examined, they will all anatomically be the same, more or less, so where does a beautiful voice come from?” he wondered.
You weren’t an accident. You weren’t mass produced. You aren’t an assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the earth by the Master Craftsman ~ Max Lucado
Remembering his question recently, I searched for potential answers online, but it appears nobody quite seems to know! Apparently, anyone can become a better singer with the right training and enough practice, but in the end some people are simply born with a naturally beautiful singing voice. A divine gift from God, Source, Spirit, the Divine?
I believe we all bring our own gifts and talents to this world in order to be of service to each other and help make the world a better place. I also believe we gather these karmic talents and abilities through our soul evolution over many lifetimes of reincarnation.
Have you identified what your special gift or talent is yet? Intuitively we usually know from an early age, but it is never too late to find out.
