How To Access Universal Flow

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIn the spiritual community it is often said that one must aim to constantly be in ‘universal flow,’ but what does it actually mean? And how can one achieve this state of ‘flow?’

If you personally haven’t experienced this, I can assure you it truly is as amazing as you may have heard it described. It is a blessed state in which opportunities flow in effortlessly, and joy, connection and well-being abound.

Being in flow gives us access to wisdom and understanding in a way we just don’t see when we aren’t riding that divine wave. It feels like one is prepared for absolutely anything in life!

But what exactly is universal flow, and how can you tap into it?

‘Universal flow’ means you are tapped into the divine guidance that is always available to us, and you are in alignment with your path, purpose, and the divine flow of the creative life force. It means that you are tapped into this flow of sacred energy and allowing it to guide your choices and your perception. It is a surrender to the benevolent will of God, Source, Spirit, the Divine, and coming into alignment with to the limitless flow of abundance and well-being in the Universe.

In this state of allowing, the right people, opportunities, and resources can flow into your life, for you to access and make use of as needed. It can provide you with everything you need to manifest your dreams and fulfill your purpose.

Going with the flow is responding to cues from the universe. When you go with the flow, you’re surfing life force. It’s about wakeful trust and total collaboration with what’s showing up for you ~ Danielle LaPorte

Universal flow also helps one to see life in a more constructive light. When we are in the flow state, we see things so much more clearly and more positively. We have a deeper sense of empathy, compassion and understanding, and we can often pick up on the intricacies of a given situation with ease and have an intuitive knowing how to best deal with it. We understand that the Universe puts us where we need to be, when we need to be there.

To be stuck in traffic, for example, is usually a very frustrating situation to be in, but when we are in flow, we understand that there must be a purpose to it. This makes it so much easier to be patient with these kinds of situations. Maybe you’re being saved from an accident, or maybe you are meant to bump into someone special in the parking lot, whom you would have missed had you been on time.

This is how being in flow provides us with what we need. It will put us in the path of the right things at the right time for our highest good. However, it is still up to us to take right action. It is up to us to seize those moments and opportunities.

The great thing about being in flow is that we notice and recognize the opportunities when they come. We understand intuitively what we need to do, and how and when to do it, with relative ease. Being in the flow gives us a sense of ‘preparedness’ and courage to take action. It helps us ask for what we need and open to receive it.

So, how does one get into universal flow? Well, this can be somewhat tricky. It’s also challenging to remain in flow. It tends to be like a pendulum swing. We typically enjoy periods when we are fully tapped into the magical flow state, and it is incredible! But at times we also feel disconnected from the flow or have trouble gaining access to it. All these experiences on the ‘flow spectrum’ are okay, and totally normal.

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like ~ Lao Tzu

To get into universal flow, I recommend the following strategies.

Mind Your Self-Talk

First thing I suggest is to become very aware of your inner dialogue.  It is far more difficult to get into flow if you are always negative and mean to yourself. In fact, people are often far meaner to themselves than they realize. We talk to ourselves in our heads all day. What does your inner voice sound like? If you are critical and cruel to yourself, the first step is to stop this immediately. Negative people do not attract many positive things. Start training your inner voice to talk to you like you would talk to one of your dearest friends or loved ones.

Trust The Process

The next step is to accept that things work out best when make the best of the way things work out. Trust that there is a divine design, and work with what you’re given. Especially when things don’t go the way you want them to. There is always a solid purpose for everything that happens, or does not happen. Rather than it being a roadblock, it’s probably just a detour. You may even discover that your ‘detour’ was the best possible path after all!

Be More Present

Slow down and be present in the moment. To be in universal flow we cannot be worried about yesterday, or tomorrow. Fully immerse yourself in the present and live your life to the fullest in every moment. When we are truly present, the light of our consciousness shines through us. It is magnetic. This is a powerful spiritual practice all on its own that will help you feel seen and heard.

Time To Meditate

Begin a daily meditation practice. I know, I know, you’re sick of hearing about meditation! But it is, in my experience, the single most powerful practice to get into universal flow and transform your life. It is not as difficult as you may think. These days there are amazing smartphone apps and streaming services for guided meditations. And the best part is, you even find guided meditations specifically designed to help you get into flow. To get started, do an online search and find one that resonates with you. While you are at it, I also recommend finding a good heart chakra meditation to open and clear the heart center.

Simple Daily Affirmations

Affirmations are also a very powerful tool to help you access universal flow. I like very simple, clear affirmations. I suggest using only a few that you resonate with most and repeating them at least once a day. Morning is a great time to do your affirmations, because it sets the tone for the day. Some of my favorites are:

I am love.

I am loved.

I am whole.

I am joy.

I am powerful.

I am strong.

As you state the affirmations, open your heart to the energy of each one. If this idea seems strange to you, start by just being aware of the sensations around your heart when you do the affirmations. As you state each affirmation, think of something that brings that feeling to you. For example, when you say, “ I am joy,” think of your kids or a beloved pet when they are playful and happy. How does that make your heart feel? Eventually the feelings associated with each affirmation will bubble up spontaneously in your heart when you say them. Just be patient with the practice.
