There Is Nothing To Worry About!
We seem to live in troubled times. In my part of the world, we have recently experienced the passing of our beloved queen, the resignation of two prime ministers, and the continuing effects of a global economic recession. So much to worry about, right?
True, but only from a limited human viewpoint. From the spiritual perspective, we need not worry about what tomorrow may bring, because we can trust in God, Source, Spirit, the Divine to support and guide us, and to positively orchestrate things on our behalf.
As a Christian, I have faith in the Almighty having my back every step of the way. In the New Testament of The Bible, Jesus Christ makes it very clear why we should not worry about what lies ahead. In Matthew 6 he says:
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin…Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
As a professional psychic, many clients consult me because they are fearful or anxious about what will or will not happen in their future. Worrying about the future is of course understandable, yet there are both spiritual and practical reasons why it is best not to do so:
Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy ~ Leo Buscaglia
Staying Positive
The more positive our attitude, the more positive outcomes we attract to ourselves. On a practical level, people are also more drawn to us, rather than repelled by us if we have a positive attitude, rather than dragging them down with negativity. This opens many doors and creates new opportunities.
Unfounded Fear
Sometimes we worry about something so much that it actually happens. What we consistently focus on and believe eventually becomes our reality. Our energetic ability to manifest is always at work, for better or for worse. The outcomes we manifest depend mostly on our mindset, thoughts and beliefs.
Furthermore, when a much-feared event actually happens in our lives, it is often not nearly as disastrous or terrible as we had expected it might be. So, what is the point of worrying about things that is often less bad in reality than what our imaginations tell us it will be?
Being Present
When we needlessly expend time and energy worrying, we miss out on many other blessings in our lives.
For example, rather than agonize over not being able to pay for your children’s college fees someday, focus instead on watching them grow up and really enjoying every stage of their development. Do not miss out on some of the most precious years of your children’s lives.
This does not mean that you should not plan for the future, as the more you do to be proactive, the better. But being proactive is not the same as worrying about something. In fact, usually when someone is obsessively worrying about something it is because they are not being proactive. And doing so can suck the joy out of one’s life.
In short, worrying too much about the future does not help us to enjoy the present moment as much as we should as spiritual beings in human form.
Worry pretends to be necessary, but serves no useful purpose ~ Eckhart Tolle
Increased Focus
We cannot focus effectively on any given task or be productive if we are constantly worrying about stuff. We simply cannot! Our worrying thoughts get in the way of our everyday tasks, and that gets is nowhere.
Do not let fearful thoughts about your future invade your daily life. You will become more productive, develop a real sense of clarity, feel much more in control of your life, and also enjoy it much more!
Improved Decision-Making
We often put off making a decision due to the fear of making the wrong one. But the truth is if we put off making decisions it affects our life in a negative sense. We must ultimately make decisions to bring about both change and positive growth in our lives, or we will remain stagnant and there will be no progress.
There are times in our life when we must simply take that leap of faith and go with what our gut tells us. In the end it will lead to less stress and worry, and we will attract a better future.
Feeling Secure
When we give up our anxious mindset and put our faith in God, Source, Spirit, the Universe to provide for our needs, while taking proactive steps ourselves in achieving it, we become empowered and a develop a stronger sense of security and confidence. In turn, this sense of inner strength bubbles over to other areas of our lives, creating joy, harmony, and happiness.
