Invite Healing Into Your Life
Too often, in this modern world of ours, we seem to get sick, or just not feel quite right? It’s not a matter of more germs. Most of us are simply out of balance with our many psychic energies.
When we don’t connect properly to nature, or don’t get the proper amount of sleep, or eat food that doesn’t nourish us, we are inviting sickness. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Just as there are many types of western medicine, many branches of energy and spiritual healing also exist. Which one is right for you? The answer doesn’t have to be just one. Whether you choose to heal with acupressure or chakra medicine, crystals or aromatherapy, there is a solution out there for you.
The art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind ~ Philipus Aureolus Paracelsus
Start by asking the universe for general answers. Where are you feeling the most pain? The clues may lie not in the actual source of the pain, but in your spiritual self, perhaps from several lifetimes ago. In your individual spiritual practice, keep a journal for these clues. A larger picture will start to emerge. Ask your spirit guides, angels, and animal totems for additional help. They know; they’re looking out for you. When you’ve narrowed it down, and begun to focus on areas for healing, the process itself can begin.
All healing, at its core, is the healing of energies. At the very cellular level, all life is built on the interaction of these energies. This is why spiritual disciplines, such as Reiki (a Japanese word meaning roughly “healing life force energy”) or acupressure (a practice originating in China, which clears spiritual blockages through touch) are so effective. It is possible to seek a professional in these healing methods, but we can also self-heal.
Think about this: the universe itself wants us to be whole, happy, and healthy. When we feel sick, it is usually because we are out of balance with our true selves. That is what good psychic practice helps us to do – realize our full potential and continually heal.
The human body has been designed to resist an infinite number of changes and attacks brought about by its environment. The secret of good health lies in successful adjustment to changing stresses on the body ~ Harry J. Johnson
Meditate regularly. If you are inclined, find a aromatic scent or two which stimulates you, and use it regularly. Ask your spirit guides, angels or totems to heal you. How many of us are overworked, overstressed, and exhausted? When was the last time we truly made time for our spiritual lives? When we start looking in the mirror, we often find the vast majority of our illnesses are caused by imbalance.
Make time each day to engage in active healing. Directly after waking up, or before bedtime, are ideal times. Set a routine. Getting enough fresh water, along with natural drinks like tea, is also crucial. Consider how much of our bodies are made up of water. Just as a contaminated pond will stagnate, so will our bodies if we drink things like soda! Eat foods that are natural, wholesome, and fresh whenever possible. Any good house is built on a firm foundation. When we start paying attention to the basics, the rest will follow.
We don’t have to be sick, tired, and depressed. The universe wants us to be whole and healthy, and we have the power to make that happen.
