Spiritual Awakening, Now What?
A few years ago, in the time leading up to 2012, I wrote a blog post about the symptoms of spiritual awakening. Well, here we are in 2014 and some of us are wondering what to do now?
Some of us feel as though we didn’t make it. Some of us are wondering if we made it, but don’t know it? Some feel as though they have awakened, but have hit a plateau and are unsure of what to do next.
All of these examples are types of plateaus we must face in our diverse journeys. I can only offer advice on what I have personally dealt with and come to embrace in my own.
As soon as you look at the world through an ideology you are finished. No reality fits an ideology. Life is beyond that … Life only makes sense when you perceive it as mystery and it makes no sense to the conceptualizing mind ~ Anthony de Mello
A lot of us felt changes as they were happening to us. For some it was subtle, for others tumultuous. Some have learned to raise their vibration, or level of consciousness. And, some are feeling as though they have hit a plateau, or they aren’t progressing as before.
Whichever the case, in order to get past this, you must first remember not to doubt yourself. Don’t concern yourself with whether or not you have ‘arrived’. This is not a competition.
Rid yourself of things like jealousy, fundamentalism, control of others, greed, abuse and sitting in judgment of others. There is a lot more to the story than what we are told or than we think we know.
And, then there is my nemesis: extreme views. Almost nothing is what it seems to be. Being a psychic, I’ve learned that I cannot trust the superficial. I’ve had to learn to dig deeper to find answers. What I’ve thought was the truth, as it was told to me, is not always so. It simply wasn’t true at all.
The truth, whatever that may be to you, or to me, can be found only within ourselves. All the answers reside within ourselves, without external interference.
Only he who masters himself can advance spiritually. The fool who uses extraneous aids for this, in the form of the ready-made opinions of others, only walks his path as if on crutches, while ignoring his own healthy limbs ~ Abd-Ru-Shin
If you are needing something to focus your thoughts or meditations on, try to understand that life is energy and vibration acting according to how you choose to use it. Every action carries its own consequence, good or bad, positive or negative. Newton said, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This is a fundamental polarity of life itself.
My mom always told me, “Who you are, and the conditions you live in, mirror your thoughts and feelings, past and present.” Then she would tell me my room is a mess and I needed to clean it!
Love is the force and law executes the will of love. Love and forgiveness are intertwined. One must forgive in order to be forgiven. I strongly feel that if we embrace this concept, we will find and then know ourselves. Ultimately, this is what we are all searching for in this quest for Spiritual Awakening.
