The Protective Power Of Kyanite

I used to work at a beauty salon and spa, where the energy amongst the staff was highly toxic. We were a group of women who ideally could have come together in harmony and make others feel amazing, but that wasn’t the reality.

Initially, I was friendly and open, because I wanted to get along with my co-workers. They all smiled at first and made me feel welcome, but in time they began to show their true colors, which turned out to be less friendly and welcoming.

Eventually it no longer was a place where I wanted to be every day, but the money was great, especially during the holiday and bridal season. So, I had to make it work for the time being.

Every day, I was feeling out of place and exhausted by the time I got home from work, so I decided to do something about it.

First, I began to consciously shield myself from the ‘psychic vampires’ at work with daily yoga practice and prayer. That was of great help, but I also wanted to carry something on me for protection. She brought out a beautiful piece of blue Kyanite, which is known for its high vibration and quick transfer of energy. She mentioned that, in a workplace, it would encourage me to speak my truth and help remove self-criticism, especially when I was feeling judged or put down by others

Kyanite also works with opening up and balancing your chakras. There are other colors of this crystal which represent different energy centers. Blue Kyanite is associated with the throat chakra and expressing oneself; black is best for the base chakra and wonderful for grounding; and green is connected to the heart chakra and lovely for dissolving emotional pain.

You can place Kyanite anywhere on your body to clear and repair whatever may need mending, as well as wear it during the day to ward of negativity. It certainly worked for me. It made that toxic work environment at the spa much more easy to deal with!
