Communication, research, and innovation are the themes of the week as the Moon travels through thought-provoking signs and Mercury moves into the idealistic sign of Virgo on Thursday.
With a Virgo Moon overhead today, we’ll start the week out by organizing and refining our thoughts, goals, and plans for the future.
The Mars and Uranus conjunction in Taurus this morning will further boost our energy levels and will keep us focused on our goals for the week ahead. However, don’t allow your determination and focus to turn into an impulsive and stubborn mindset. Rules are there for a reason, so don’t foolishly break them because you feel somewhat unstoppable this morning!
Tomorrow and Wednesday we’ll be striving for balance under the Libra Moon, double-checking facts, and making sure our ideas are sound and attainable.
The Venus in Cancer sextile with Uranus in Taurus tomorrow morning will be the ideal time to ask that special someone out on a date. Venus and Uranus in this constellation tends to make people more open and receptive to to romance, love and new connections, so strike while the iron is hot!
Mercury will move into Virgo, one of the signs it rules, on Thursday, speeding up our thoughts and inspiring our visions for the next three weeks. Combined with a Scorpio Moon, we’ll move beyond the tangible and consider alternate ways to bring our dreams into reality.

Today and tomorrow’s Virgo Moon is ideal for tackling projects and jobs that have been hitting glitches the last few weeks, as astrological influences have cleared and it’s now smooth sailing ahead.
The Cancer Sun sextile the Virgo Moon may however put a passivity damper on our work ethic this morning, but while we are gearing up to get things done later, it might be a good idea to tap into the heightened capacity for rational thinking this aspect also offers. Use this energy to lead with your head, not your heart, and at least get a plan of action together in the meantime.
Balance will be the theme as the Moon glides through Libra on Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday afternoon the Libra Moon trine Saturn in Aquarius will create an ideal opportunity for successful business meetings and marketing presentations, especially in dealing with powerful, respected clients.

This evening’s Gemini Moon sextile Mars in Aries creates the ideal ambience for a romantic date night. What better excuse to spoil that special person in your life! You may also have a craving for spicy food, so take your partner or spouse to a Mexican, Thai or Indian restaurant.
The Cancer New Moon occurs tomorrow, while Neptune goes retrograde for a five-month period. These two aspects can further generate new ideas and options, so keep your eyes and ears open. Beware tomorrow night’s Cancer Sun square Jupiter in Aries, as this aspect is known for tempting us to indulge in hedonistic pursuits that might leave you hungover and bloated from all the late night partying. Play it safe, and go to be early tomorrow night, instead of joining friends at that trendy new bar or nightclub. You will thank me in the morning!

Two major astrological events mark this week as a time of transition. The first is Mercury turning retrograde in Gemini on Tuesday, and the second a Scorpio Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Sunday.
It’s important to focus on preparation for these two events under tomorrow’s Virgo Moon. For example, backing up your computer, saving your passwords, updating your phone’s software, and so on, is crucial, as all aspects of communication may be affected this week by Mercury going retrograde.
On a different note, if you are prone to easily feeling down, or even depressed on a Monday morning, then the Leo Moon opposition with Saturn in Aquarius may affect you negatively this morning. This could manifest as feelings of dissatisfaction, melancholy, self-pity or simple moodiness.
Vital details not only have a way of slipping through the cracks during a Mercury Retrograde, but is even more likely under a Libra Moon. So take lots of notes in meetings and keep records of everything on Wednesday, and review and rebalance on Thursday and Friday as the Moon moves through Libra.
The weekend could toss a few unexpected changes our way with the Moon moving through Scorpio and culminating in a powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. This is the second eclipse in a two-week time period, the first having occurred on April 30th. It sets the tone and focus for the next six months. Two important astrological events mark this week. Mars is moving into the spiritually-based sign of Pisces and the Moon will wax full in Libra.
With Mars traveling through Pisces for the next six weeks, we’ll be prone to following our intuition over the facts, as well as making decisions that are at times unsupported by logic or reason. That’s okay though, as bowing to the spiritual urges and acting on them is sure to take us where we want to go during this cycle.
We’ll be under the influence of the waxing Full Moon this entire week. This aspect is famous for surprising us in the area of relationships. Do not be surprised if you get an unexpected text or call from someone from your past, or meeting someone new who seems so familiar you are sure you know them from a past life!
If there are any areas of our life that are currently out of balance, this Full Moon is sure to point them out so we can correct course and reclaim our equilibrium.

We’ll be closing out this final week of the astrological year with some self-focus and organization, by bringing some things to completion and attending to things we’ve been neglecting over the past few months.
The Moon will cruise through Leo on today and tomorrow, reminding us to practice more generosity to others, as well as ourselves. This is a good cycle for forgiveness and preparing to release anything that holds us back, before Friday’s Virgo Full Moon.
It may be necessary to take a deep breath and count to ten this afternoon, as the Leo Moon square Uranus in Taurus can cause people to be irritable, stubborn, moody, and even act a little outrageous.
During this time, people can be eccentric, headstrong, fanatic, over-the-top, irritable. It will not be a good time for getting into arguments with your significant other, as it could cause damage to the future of your relationship. Stay centered and grounded, and keep calm.
Wednesday and Thursday’s energies are ideal for regrouping, organizing our lives, and eliminating clutter on a physical level, as the Moon moves through Virgo. We’ll also be reminded that while having high ideals to move us forward, we need to also be more gentle and understanding of ourselves and others.
Once the Moon peaks full on Friday, we’ll enter a phase of release during which we can truly let go of the past and the hold it has on us. We’ll also take a breather later in the day, as the Moon moves into Libra and spends the weekend calling for a return to balance.
On Sunday the astrological new year is upon us, as the Sun moves into Aries, calling for a fresh start and a creative approach to life over the next four weeks.

Hope you rested up the last two weeks, as the astrological events in the heavens this week could have us running on all cylinders!
A Cancer Full Moon, also known as the ‘Wolf’ Moon greets us today, which could make us moody and not really interested in work or socializing. Get what you can off your plate before noon, so you don’t feel overwhelmed or frustrated later in the day, as the Cancer Moon opposition with Pluto in Capricorn may have us feeling even more dejected and in a sulky mood.
Cancer Full Moons are also notorious for predisposing us to family drama and triggering disputes with loved ones and relatives, so find your calm center before you leave work to go home. Also take special care with your personal health this afternoon, as we tend to be more vulnerable to illness under this lunar influence.
By the way, Full Moons are a good time for release, so you may want to consider what you’re ready to let go of in your life to get what you want. Friendships? Clutter? Financial obligations that are needlessly draining your pocketbook? Release what no longer serves you.
Things will be a little brighter tomorrow, as the Moon moves into Leo, and Uranus resumes forward motion in Taurus after 5 months to clear away the sense of frustration that many of us have been feeling.
On Wednesday the Sun will move into the dazzling sign of Aquarius and move us to yet another level of freedom, provided we’re ready to experience the new and unusual! New ideas and innovative thoughts will come our way. And Thursday and Friday’s Virgo Moon will have us processing and sorting through each and every one of them.
