The Cancer New Moon occurs tomorrow, while Neptune goes retrograde for a five-month period. These two aspects can further generate new ideas and options, so keep your eyes and ears open. Beware tomorrow night’s Cancer Sun square Jupiter in Aries, as this aspect is known for tempting us to indulge in hedonistic pursuits that might leave you hungover and bloated from all the late night partying. Play it safe, and go to be early tomorrow night, instead of joining friends at that trendy new bar or nightclub. You will thank me in the morning!

With a Gemini New Moon in the heavens today, we can make a wish and start formulating a plan for the future. The Gemini Moon will likely have us doing more socializing than working today and tomorrow, as our quest for new and shared information prevails.
The Gemini Moon square Neptune in Pisces tomorrow afternoon will set the scene for a fickle, emotional mid-week by causing us to be passive, unrealistic, and indulging in wishful thinking.
This will be followed by a moody, even gloomy energy that will hang over us on Wednesday and Thursday, as the Moon drifts through emotional Cancer, and we’ll have to watch out for sensitivity or depression, which meditation and spiritual practices can help alleviate. Keep things simple, attend household obligations and avoid making any dyed-in-the-wool decisions.
The mood will rapidly begin to improve early on Friday morning with the Cancer Moon sextile Mercury in Taurus with an increased sense of clarity and more sound judgment. Friday afternoon the Moon will move firmly into Leo and provide us with a more confident outlook for the weekend, reminding us to practice self-love and to be generous with others in all our interactions.
Mercury will thankfully turn direct on Friday, but do allow a week or two after for the retrograde glitches to clear entirely.
Saturday, Saturn will turn retrograde and remain that way until late October. When Saturn is retrograde, it gives us a few months to move without the regular restrictions and disciplines this planet is famous for, allowing us to explore new schedules and ways of being that might serve us better in the future.

Two major astrological events mark this week as a time of transition. The first is Mercury turning retrograde in Gemini on Tuesday, and the second a Scorpio Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Sunday.
It’s important to focus on preparation for these two events under tomorrow’s Virgo Moon. For example, backing up your computer, saving your passwords, updating your phone’s software, and so on, is crucial, as all aspects of communication may be affected this week by Mercury going retrograde.
On a different note, if you are prone to easily feeling down, or even depressed on a Monday morning, then the Leo Moon opposition with Saturn in Aquarius may affect you negatively this morning. This could manifest as feelings of dissatisfaction, melancholy, self-pity or simple moodiness.
Vital details not only have a way of slipping through the cracks during a Mercury Retrograde, but is even more likely under a Libra Moon. So take lots of notes in meetings and keep records of everything on Wednesday, and review and rebalance on Thursday and Friday as the Moon moves through Libra.
The weekend could toss a few unexpected changes our way with the Moon moving through Scorpio and culminating in a powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. We’ll be under the influence of the waxing Full Moon this entire week. This aspect is famous for surprising us in the area of relationships. Today’s Taurus Moon can go either way. It could instill a sense of peace and contentment, no matter what is going on around us, or it can lead us down a rabbit hole of frustration, conflict and drama. First of all, be careful to not pick a fight with your beloved this morning under the Taurus Moon square Mars in Aquarius, followed by a square with Saturn in Aquarius, as these two squares can cause a small disagreement or argument to escalate easily and quickly to full-blown drama and conflict – which is not the best way to start the new week!
By the time we get to the office today, the Mars in Aquarius conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius may be causing some frustration with its clash of total opposites. The driven impatience of Mars does not sit well with the measured, controlled timing of Saturn. If you are the impulsive, hasty type it may be best for you to count to ten…or even take a walk around the block to calm and center yourself.

The Moon will cruise through Leo on today and tomorrow, reminding us to practice more generosity to others, as well as ourselves. This is a good cycle for forgiveness and preparing to release anything that holds us back, before Friday’s Virgo Full Moon.
It may be necessary to take a deep breath and count to ten this afternoon, as the Leo Moon square Uranus in Taurus can cause people to be irritable, stubborn, moody, and even act a little outrageous.
During this time, people can be eccentric, headstrong, fanatic, over-the-top, irritable. It will not be a good time for getting into arguments with your significant other, as it could cause damage to the future of your relationship. Stay centered and grounded, and keep calm.
Wednesday and Thursday’s energies are ideal for regrouping, organizing our lives, and eliminating clutter on a physical level, as the Moon moves through Virgo. We’ll also be reminded that while having high ideals to move us forward, we need to also be more gentle and understanding of ourselves and others.
