The Haunted Furniture

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comWhen I met my wife and we started to date, I had a hard time to open up to her to tell her I do psychic readings.

Ironically, there was a psychic lady who lived about four miles down the road who told her she was going to meet someone who lives nearby, that he also does psychic readings and that we were going to get married. She told her several other things too. She said this man you will meet went to the same high school, you have a past work connection with his family and he will one day help your sister in a time of need.

A year after we got married, we discovered that my wife used to work for my cousin Charley and that her brother is the supervisor at the same workplace. So, later that night I called  my cousin and he confirmed all of it for us.

Now that you’re there, where everything is known—tell me: What else lived in that house besides us? ~ Anna Akhmatova

Soon after this, I told my wife about the ghost stories on my mother’s side of the family and she then asked me if I believed in psychics, and I said yes, why? She then confessed that she went to a local psychic not too far from where we lived. In turn I confessed that I do psychic readings. She look at me and said, “Why didn’t you tell me!” I then explained that I didn’t know how she was going to take it.

I asked my wife how she thought her parents would feel about doing psychic readings. She was not sure, so we took them out to dinner. I was later told that when I met my in-laws they knew I was nervous about something. They were relieved when I finally came out and told them the truth. But they were concerned about my religious beliefs, and I had to reassure them that I was a born again Christian and that what I did was not ‘black magic’.

To prove myself I had to tell them something that they never told their children. Since I had to tell them in front of my wife, it either was going to go well, or I was going to fail miserably! I then asked them if it would be okay for me to bring up something very personal in front of their daughter and they said it was fine. I then described something that happened between them before their marriage, when they were still dating. You should have seen the look on their faces!

My wife asked them if it true and they had to admit that it was. And that’s when the flood gates opened! They asked me how I knew without using any Tarot cards or psychic tools, and I explained that I ‘see’ things.

It was a big relief that my wife and her family finally knew the truth. It was even better to know that she had to problem with it.

Ghosts could walk freely tonight, without fear of the disbelief of men; for this night was haunted, and it would be an insensitive man who did not know it ~ John Steinbeck

My sister-in-law thought psychics were a joke and she never believed in them before she met me. One day I made her a bet. I would tell her one thing about herself that nobody else knows, and she would have to be honest. If I was correct she would have to give me $20, which I would then give to her daughter to buy herself something. And if I lose the bet, I would give her $100 just to prove a point. She would not take me up on my bet and made up some excuse.

Several years went by, until a time came when my sister-in-law suddenly needed my professional help. Guess what… her house was haunted and she was freaking out! She had moved four times since I married her sister, and every time she had moved she found that her place was haunted. She never asked for my help, but this time she put her pride in her pocket.

When I had helped them move into that house, on the way down the stairs one day, I suddenly felt a child’s hands on my back. At first I thought it was my nephew, but he had already gone down the stairs and out the door. A few weeks later, at my birthday dinner, I overheard them talking about more paranormal activity going on in their house. It was then that they asked me to come over to help them. I said to her, “I thought you didn’t believe in psychics and ghosts?”

My in-laws said they would take her son home with them. We did not want him around should there be any incident. When we got to her house, I explained to my sister in-law and the other people present that this was not a game. I then set up the things I brought with me. It was a quiet night. Then my niece started to cry, and we asked her what was wrong. She had heard a voice speaking to her, telling her to get out. My sister in-law took her away.

I had to call a friend of mine named Kevin, who had helped me in the past on paranormal investigations, if he could come over and help me. When he arrived, I brought him up to speed and we started to do our thing again. Once again it was very quiet, and so after a couple of hours we decided to take a break. It was getting to close to 2:00 am. Kevin then discovered that he got a weird feeling every time he walked around the end table. I tried it myself and suddenly felt very cold.

I asked my wife to turn the lights off and see if we can get something to happen. We could immediately tell that there was something not right with the table. I grew up in haunted houses, but I never had something like this before.

Next, after putting new batteries in all the flashlights, something was affecting the brightness of the flashlights and even my digital camera and digital tape recorder was malfunctioning. But nothing further happened for the rest of that night.

Something was up with that furniture. Later we went over there again and this time I removed the end table. I have a feeling that thing might have come from another haunted house. My sister-in-law bought it a yard sale. The people who were selling it said they bought it from someone else. After we removed it, all activity in the house stopped.

Remember, if you buy something at an auction or a yard sale – there it might be some energy 0r something attached to it! Sometimes there is a reason people are getting rid of an expensive antique piece at a bargain price.
