Our best bet for getting anything productive done this week will be under today’s Taurus Moon moving into Gemini this evening. The Moon in Taurus has been making us more success-driven, while the Moon in the Gemini tends to sharpen our mental faculties. We are more awake this afternoon and looking for new experiences and impressions. This is a good time for all kinds of communication, contacts, training, and learning.
We’ll need to watch for gossip or misinformation on Tuesday and Wednesday, as the Gemini Moon inspires people to share without the facts or make comments that could be taken the wrong way. Our best bet during this phase is to watch and listen, rather than advising or sharing our opinions.
Beware the Gemini Moon square Jupiter in Pisces tomorrow, as it can get us into trouble with the authorities or invite legal problems. Be sure to follow the rules and comply with regulations. The Moon will dive into emotional Cancer on Thursday, culminating in a Cancer New Moon on Friday. Whew! After all the chaos in the heavens last week, we can regroup for the next seven days, as there are no major astrological events on the agenda. All in all, it will be a good week to rebalance: first spiritually and then physically later in the week.
The Moon will glide through Pisces today and tomorrow, bringing out our spiritual and reflective side. It calls us today to take some time out to focus on the inner self. The Moon conjunction with Jupiter in Pisces may also bring along a welcome financial windfall or an opportunity for social influence and success.
Tomorrow’s Pisces Moon square Mercury in Gemini creates a window of opportunity for us to access our spiritual gifts and talents, but be careful not to abuse the privilege or take it for granted.
We may not get much done the first three days of the week, but whatever we manage to process internally this week will be essential for us to move forward next week.
We can get back to work with more focus as the Moon cruises through action-oriented Aries on Wednesday, and most likely get twice as much done, compared to anything we attempted at the start of the week. Use the rest of the week to make up for lost time!
On Sunday the United States will be celebrate Independence Day under a Taurus Moon, and unlike last year, most of us should be free to safely enjoy holiday events and gatherings with our loved ones. Mercury will resume forward motion tomorrow, setting the tone for a new cycle and focus for the next three months.
We also have a Full Moon in Capricorn on Thursday. This Full Moon in particular will bring out our need for security and stability, encouraging us to find new ways to limit unnecessary financial expenditures and to set a more financially grounded budget for the future.
Neptune turns retrograde on Friday and will inspire us over the next five months to pay more attention to our true passions and deepest desires. Neptune retrograde is a subtle influence of self-reflection and increased self-awareness, as well as greater introspection and turning our dreams and ideals into reality.

The second of two eclipses occurs this week. On Thursday the Gemini New Moon will manifest as a solar eclipse. For the next two weeks, we’ll be focused on our emotional well-being and inner peace, as we using the New Moon energy to create new ways of expressing ourselves and processing our feelings.
Be careful not to give in to unnecessary moodiness and irritability this week. It is recommended we stay grounded and centered today, as the constellation of the Taurus Moon conjunction with Uranus, also in Taurus, can lead to a lack of inner harmony and emotional balance and even cause us to act unreasonably, or behave in a peculiar way that is out of character from our normal habits.
