Hugged By An Angel
What is the difference between a Spirit Guide and a Guardian Angel? In my experience a Spirit Guide is a loving person who has walked the Earth long before we were born. It could be a relative who has come back to guide you through this lifetime.
When I was a young boy, my mother used to tell me that certain Spirit Guides were trained and chosen to be sent down to help someone who is asking for a guidance. They always try to help you, but they will never take control of your free will. They always let you make your own choices and decisions.
At times we might have as many as four to seven Spirit Guides in our inner circle. If you ask, you shall receive. You have to believe that they were sent for a reason. They are here to help you reach the goals you have set out in your life.
Working with our spirit guides and angels is a two-way communication. Only when you are open to this higher guidance, can you perceive its existence in your life ~ Asandra
My mother used to say “a poke on the shoulder is to let you know that your spirit guide is there.” If you find loose coins on the floor, it’s their way to show you that things will get better. They are letting you know they are there to help. If you ask, and believe, and have patience, then you shall receive.
I have friends who address their Spirit Guides as if they were praying out loud, asking them for help and thanking them for being there. When you ask a Spirit Guide for help, they have imaginative ways to keep you on track and deal with the daily pot holes you might encounter in your life.
Reading the Bible we find several scriptures about angels, and I trust that Angels are also here to help us. It is my belief that when we are born we receive a Guardian Angel to guard over us for the duration of our life. But I feel the important role of Angels are too often overlooked, because people confuse them with Spirit Guides.
Types of Angels
There are three types of Angels, namely Guardian Angels, Angels and Archangels. Each of the Angels where given a certain jobs to make our lives better.
Guardian Angels come to us at birth to look over us and protect us in many ways. And they stay with us for our whole life.
Angels respond to our call for protection, comfort, guidance and assistance in times of need, for example when we pray for protection on a long road trip, or to look out for our family during a challenging time.
Archangels are in a leadership or supervisory position. They are superior to the other Angels and Spirit Guides.
If you ask an Archangel for help you might feel the room temperature change, or you may feel a brushing sensation on your arm or face. You will also notice the love that will be there to surround you, as if you are receiving a hug, and a warmth in your heart.
We have to keep a open mind. The Universe will always send us the resources we need.
