The Transformative Power Of Finding Your Faith
Faith is deeply personal and means different things to different people. It can take many forms, such as spiritual faith in a higher power, personal faith in one’s abilities, or faith in the people and principles that shape our lives.
For some, faith is a guiding force that offers comfort and meaning. For others, it’s a leap into the unknown, choosing hope over doubt. It can be rooted in a religious tradition, philosophical principle, esoteric teaching, or the simple belief that tomorrow holds possibilities unseen today.
Whatever our beliefs, faith is an intense and often unshakable certainty in those beliefs despite the absence of proof. To me, faith is a powerful, transformative force. When embraced, it offers immeasurable strength in the face of life’s challenges.
When I was young, I struggled to grasp the concept of faith. I never doubted the existence of a creator. I never doubted an afterlife or the presence of spirits in our lives. Perhaps this was due to my innate sensitivity to energies and spiritual disposition. I moved through life guided by intuition.
Yet despite my spiritual grounding, my faith was tested repeatedly, especially through experiences of trauma and loss.
I wrestled with questions of purpose and fairness. I couldn’t accept the idea of a cruel or indifferent creator who randomly punished or rewarded people.
As a child, I didn’t understand the divine purpose of those trials, nor did I understand how they were meant to shape, strengthen, and refine me, making me more empathetic and insightful. This understanding only came with time, healing, and introspection.

Ultimately, it was my faith that helped me heal from life’s setbacks and find meaning. I learned to trust that a greater purpose was at work in all our lives.
As I navigated pain, loss, and self-doubt on my healing journey, I began to recognize a powerful pattern—one that I had seen repeated countless times in my own life and in the lives of the many people I have done readings for over the years. Every time we face obstacles, painful experiences, or recurring patterns of disappointment, we have an opportunity to learn.
The difficult moments of our life’s journey are not punishments; they are divine opportunities for growth. We are invited to ask ourselves the hard questions: How did I contribute to this? What do I need to change? What is the lesson here?
This process can be incredibly difficult. Sometimes, it leads us into a “dark night of the soul,” a crisis of faith, a time when we feel lost, disconnected, and overwhelmed. However, these experiences are never meant to break us. They are meant to shape us by refining our character, deepening our empathy, sharpening our insight, and expanding our self-awareness.
Through my personal experiences and work with others, I’ve learned that our soul’s journey is about knowing ourselves more deeply. In doing so, we become more aligned, conscious, and capable of raising the collective vibration. Faith is our ally in this process. It carries us through the darkest nights and reminds us that we are not alone.
You do not need to work to become spiritual. You are spiritual; you need only to remember that fact. Spirit is within you. God is within you ~ Julia Cameron
Faith is the belief that there is a purpose, that healing is possible, that joy will return, and that we are equipped by divine design to overcome life’s challenges. Faith is trust in a benevolent creator or universal intelligence that lovingly conspires for our growth and success.
However, faith is a choice. Its beauty lies in the fact that it does not require hard proof. It simply asks us to embrace it. The power of this trust cannot be overstated.
Finding faith, especially during difficult times, is a gift. It strengthens us in ways we didn’t know were possible. Though our faith may be tested and doubt may visit even the most steadfast heart, choosing faith can transform everything.
For those without faith, life’s path can feel much lonelier and heavier, as they carry its burdens without the comfort of greater meaning or unseen support. Yet, even the faintest whisper of belief can spark a light in the darkness and invite hope where despair once lived.
Faith is a blessing that uplifts and empowers us, reminding us of the sacredness of our journey. May more and more people choose it, embrace it, and be transformed by it.
