A Sign From Spirit On Laundry Day

Whenever I do laundry, I tend to think of my grandma, especially when I take out the clothes and un-wrinkle each item, before tossing it into the dryer. I then think of something she said back when I was a young girl. She said it is like a gift to do laundry, as it gives you time to relax and meditate.

She was a wise woman. Sometimes when we are doing mindless things it can be the perfect time to just think! Doing the laundry, I often think of things, deeply. And sometimes I actually receive the answers to questions I have had in the back of my mind for quite some time.

I recently had a dream of my grandma. She came to tell me that she was so proud of the woman I have become and how happy she was that I think of her, especially when I do the laundry! She reiterated something she told me so long ago, “When you take each piece of clothing out of the trying and are folding them, take that time to just let go, and try not to think of anything. Just let go and relish the joy that comes from being able to have clean clothes, to breathe in clean air, to have a roof over your head, and to have running water.

Our ancestors on the other side are always watching over their loved ones and are very happy when their children, grandchildren remember things they were told by them in this life. I really appreciate the lessons I have learned from my grandmother and still enjoy certain things we did together when she was alive.

I was going downstairs to do the laundry again the other day, after I had the dream of her, and there I found a single piece of clothing someone had left on the table in front of the washing machine. It had a huge image of a heart printed on the front with the slogan, We Are Connected In Love. I took this as a sign that grandma was with me in the basement to help me with the laundry.

Spirit communication sometimes happens in the strangest ways, but it is always a gift. It is a sign that our loved ones are watching us. Never disregard those precious moments you share with your loved ones while they are still here in this life, as those memories are the true gifts they will leave behind. They will look down from above as you re-open those memories like gifts and enjoy them all over again.
