The Spiritual Importance Of Living Your Passion
It is a sad fact that so many people in today’s modern world are dissatisfied with their lot.
However, many of us allow this to happen quite easily because we have responsibilities, bills to pay, and so on. We tend to just go along with what life gives us and resist the change that would lead to a more passionate life.
In fact, sometimes we never even stop to think about what our passion might be, and sadly, we live less fulfilling lives as a result. Fortunately, this does not have to be the case.
I know that I myself have fallen into this category of people in the past, until I found where my true passion lies, which is helping other people through psychic readings and spiritual support. As a result, I have never been happier and you, dear reader, can do the same. It just depends on where your particular passion lies.
So, ask yourself, what do you really want to do with your life? Would you be more passionate about starting your own business than doing the job you have now, or are you particularly passionate about living your life in a certain way? If so, Spirit says it does not matter what other people think. What matters is what resonates with you and what makes you feel empowered and fulfilled as a human being.
Once you have determined where your passion lies (this is your focus), you need to develop a strong belief that you can fulfill this passion in your life and this mindset will be your driving force towards your goals. Many people stop at this critical point because they are understandably afraid of change. This is understandable, Spirit says, for it can be compared to stepping into the unknown.
Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there’s love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong ~ Ella Fitzgerald
However, Spirit also teaches that we should not fear change, because the only thing that ever happens in life is change! Therefore, we must embrace change rather than fear it. In doing so, you should find that your life is changing for the better – little by little. Then it can only get better as you live your passion day by day.
Having said the above, there are also multi-talented people in the world who do not quite know which path to take, as they could find success and passion in so many different areas. My advice is to listen to your intuition when choosing your path to passion, as this is how Spirit will guide you. However, if you feel that you need advice on how to connect with Spirit, I will be happy to assist you.
The most exciting part, however, is when you begin to experience the positive changes in your life by taking this leap of faith and creating a more passionate life for yourself, you will most likely never look back, and as a result become not only happier, but also a better partner, parent, friend, coworker, employer, and neighbor. And this is what makes living a life of passion and purpose so important!
How To Find Your Passion And Purpose
Finding your soul’s passion and life purpose is a deeply personal and private journey, but here are some guidelines to help you discover what truly ignites your soul:
Self-reflection: Take time to reflect on your interests, strengths, and values. Ask yourself: Is there a lack of passion in your life? What activities cause you to lose track of time? What brings you fulfillment and joy?
Explore different interests: Try different activities, pursuits and hobbies. Be open to new experiences, whether it’s painting, volunteering, coding, gardening, or playing a musical instrument. Explore the things you are passionate about.
Pay attention to curiosity: Notice what sparks your curiosity and fascination. What topics or subjects do you naturally gravitate toward when reading or learning?
Identify peak experiences: Think back to moments in your life when you felt deeply fulfilled and passionate. What were you doing at those times? What made these experiences special?
Get some feedback: Ask friends, family, or colleagues what they think you excel at or what they perceive as your unique talents. Sometimes an outside perspective can be enlightening.
Connect with your values: Think about what is most important to you in life. Your passion is often tied to your core values. What causes or issues resonate strongly with you?
Experiment and iterate: Don’t be afraid to experiment and iterate. Passion can evolve over time. Keep exploring different avenues until you find something that truly resonates.
Listen to your intuition: Pay attention to your gut and your inner voice. Often, your intuition can guide you toward activities and paths that align with your true passion.
Set aside fear: Don’t let fear of failure or uncertainty hold you back. Embrace the process of discovery and see each experience as a stepping stone to finding your passion. Don’t listen to negative people. They may be well-meaning, while others may be jealous, but ask yourself, how many of them are living their passion? They probably are not, but once they see your success in life and how happy you have become, they will more than likely emulate you rather than question you.
Have faith: Believe (with conviction) that you will be successful in your endeavors and remind yourself that the world will benefit from you living your true passion.
Spiritual practice: Engaging in a daily spiritual routine will supports you in the discovery of your soul’s passion by enhancing self-awareness, inner clarity, and connection to your true self. Practices like mindfulness or meditation allow you to observe thoughts and emotions, gaining clarity on your desires. Regular spiritual practice also sharpens intuition and inner guidance, leading to aligned opportunities and experiences. Additionally, it fosters a deeper purpose beyond personal desires, guiding you towards passions that make a positive impact in the world.
Commit to growth: Once you have identified your passion, commit to nurturing and growing it. Invest time and effort in honing your skills and deepening your knowledge in that area. Go make it happen!
Remember, discovering your soul’s passion is a journey, and it’s okay if it takes time. Stay patient, stay open, and stay curious about the world around you.
Embracing change that leads to a life of passion and fulfillment can be challenging. However, if you accept every single ounce of emotional support and strength from Spirit (you can call upon Archangel Raphael whenever you feel the need) and self-nurture to the maximum, doing both should help keep you strong, positive and focused.
Most importantly, it will help you stay on track to create a more passionate life for yourself. And while you may have to make changes to follow your true passion, everyone in your life should benefit.
