Loved Ones Or Spirit Guides?
When I started to do psychic readings, I never intended to do mediumship work. I never imagined clients asking me about loved ones and friends who had passed away. They would ask me also how one recognizes the difference between a spirit guide and a loved one in spirit.
In my experience loved ones who have passed make their presence in our lives known through signs or familiar aspects about themselves. Personally I have had many experiences with smells that identified a family member, such as the smell of their perfume or cigar smoke, as well as objects that belonged to that person that are moved or disappear. The smell of a cigar always tells me my father is around, not my grandfather, because his favorite cigars had a distinct aroma.
Your Spirit Guides and Angels will never let you down as you build a rapport with them. In the end, they may be the only ones who don’t let you down ~ Linda Deir
Our friends and loved ones continue to look over us after their passing. They are there for us and continue to protect and support us as if they were still alive in the psychical world.
Spirit guides on the other hand can come to us in many forms, and signs of their presence are unfamiliar to us. Nothing they show us will remind us of a loved one. There is nothing wrong about asking for help from a spirit guide. They are here to help us.
A client told me that she is medical doctor and on her way out of a store one day she heard someone gasping for air. It was so loud and desperate, but she could not see anyone in distress. She looked around to see if any other person heard it too, but and everyone was just going about their business.
Then, in the distance, she saw a lady waving to her to come over. As she walked towards the lady she realized it was an elderly nun, and when she reached the parked car there was an old man gasping for air. When she opened the door, she noticed the man clearly had something struck in his throat, which she promptly removed using the Heimlich maneuver. After the crisis had been averted, she turned to ask the nun what had happened, but found that she was gone!
Spirit guides, guardian angels and loved ones I spirit come in many ways to help us in everyday life – to teach us, to guide us, and to sometimes save our lives.

really like your story blogs. My dad lets me know he’s there with heavy cigarette smoke. My husband knew about my abilities and that was one of the first things that happened to him. My dad was also a jokester and use to throw a hat off our rack. It arc ed out slowly, then landed a good six feet away from my husband. He said dii really wish he would stop doing that. Lol. I said well tell him that. He did. And it stopped. The one I have yet to figure out is the smell of bananas. Very strong.Have no clue who that is. Someday I hope to figure it out.
