In The Grace Of Divine Time

Several bald eagles flew in above me this morning, as I drove along a peaceful country road, which I travel several times a week. For the past month or so, I’ve been seeing these eagles roost in one particular area along my route.

I usually see them poised in stillness upon the bare branches of the winter trees. But today, most of my sightings were of them circling in flight overhead, crossing back and forth over the road.

Sometimes they appeared to be pursuing their prey, other times leading their young, or simply enjoying the freedom of gliding through the sky beneath the beautiful morning sun. This occurred in several places along my journey, spanning a range of miles beyond the one roost and eagle family I’ve been witnessing.

Before, during, and after my way was bedazzled with this abundance of bald eagle beauty, my thoughts had been steeped in the topic of time. I sensed the eagles crossed my path to affirm and guide me in my contemplation of eternal time.

I also sensed they came as signs of a shift in my life. They were reminding me that what has been waiting in my life – energy that has been paused, stuck or still, resting, gathering, or incubating – is beginning to move on the horizon of visibility, and gradually gaining momentum.

When I arrived home, waiting in my mailbox was a pamphlet with the printed words: The Times Are Racing. Well, message received loud and clear! It’s time to express my appreciation of time.

“Time I am,” says Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. This ancient Sanskrit scripture discusses five primary topics: God (ishvara), the living entity (jiva), material nature (prakriti), time (kala), and activity (karma). Of these, the first four are described as eternal, whereas karma, or the action and reaction of activities, is said to be temporary and changeable based on one’s choices and consciousness.

Time, notably, is among the first four revered as eternal. Time is also extensively delineated throughout the Vedas, a large body of spiritual texts originating in ancient India. These scriptures comprehensively detail calculation of time from the atom; the various gradations and durations of time in other planetary systems of the Universe; the eternality of time; God as the time factor; and the absence of time as we know it in the spiritual world of Krishna, the Supreme Person and Source.

Yet, it is not uncommon in the world today to hear that time is an illusion, created by humans. That is because our limited lens of time portrays an illusory perception of past, present, and future. Humans have created clocks and calendars to measure time, and experiences of life within it.

Time itself, however, is created by the Creator. It is Divine and ever-existing of its own energy and source. In the spiritual world, the lens of experience isn’t colored by the differentiated sense of past, present, and future. Time, as we know it, is therefore considered to be conspicuous by its absence. Eternity prevails.

Bhagavad Gita and other Vedic scriptures compare the time scales of this Earth with that of other planets in the Universe. For the higher planets of celestial beings and demigods, for example, one day is equal to six months of our time, and so is one night. Our year is thus equivalent to 24 hours in these upper etheric realms of more elevated conscious beings.

Learning the truth about time will save you from unnecessary stress and strain. Understanding when the universe supports certain actions versus when it urges you to be patient can help you make the best decisions possible ~ Alexandra Harra

The topic of time is often intimately entwined with the utilization of psychic intuition. There is a natural interest to know what the future may hold for us, and when it will come to be. There are, however, many considerations to bear in mind when inquiring about divine timing, as there are so many factors which can influence and alter it.

One thing I especially aim to keep in mind when it comes to predicting time, is the source the intuitive information is received from. What energy am I tapping into? Is it earthly, celestial, or Divine? What dimension and spirit guide am I connecting with? Is it being channeled from the transcendental realm of eternity, or a higher planet where the time scale is far greater than our own?

Whatever the answer, where I find peace and clarity most of all is in remembering that God is time, and that whatever will be, will be, in the Divine right time. Meanwhile, I can pay attention to the signs to sense the pace, rhythm, pattern, space, and direction of energy moving, in order to help me navigate in my own stillness, movement, patience, or preparation accordingly – and to help others do the same when I’m requested to do a reading.

Time can sometimes feel torturous when we’re waiting, or feeling rushed. But opportunity is always there to experience time with grace, working wonders in our hearts and the lives of loved ones, in sometimes imperceptible mysterious, yet miraculous ways, which only God as time will truly, fully tell.
