How Your Reading Can Transform Your Life

During a recent reading, a client asked me a question that many people may be wondering about: “If nothing in our future is set in stone, why have a psychic reading at all?”

It’s a fair question that opens the door to a deeper understanding of our life path and soul journey. An authentic reading is never about one fixed future. We play a significant role in shaping our own destinies.

Psychics read the energy of probable outcomes, as well as possibilities and choices yet to be made, and the energetic and spiritual influences surrounding a person’s life path. During a reading, I usually see multiple paths unfolding before someone, each of which is shaped by their current intentions, actions, and willingness to grow.

It’s worth noting that not every reading shows multiple paths. Sometimes, there’s only one path. Sometimes, none appear at all! This is never a warning or a bad omen but rather a signal that someone may feel stuck and need guidance or clarity to move forward.

In this particular client’s case, the message was clear: if she remained passive, little would change. “The universe does not move unless you do,” I reminded her. Her heartache was real, but so was her ability to influence what came next. Three distinct paths of free will were revealed to her by spirit.

When her curiosity lit up, I knew she was ready to receive the message as a gift rather than as judgment. It offered her clarity in a moment of uncertainty.

I pointed out to my client that, if she decides to stay with her current partner, it is imperative that she set boundaries with him and possibly seek marriage counselling to improve the relationship. Needless to say, she was not happy with this statement. I sensed that she would have preferred me to tell her that her partner would magically change into the man she wanted, rather than accepting him for who he is.

“This would be a challenge,” she lamented, adding that “he doesn’t like boundaries, rules, or change.”

I could see that this was correct, and that her partner just wanted control. Sadly, I had to reinforce that I could not “see” him or their situation changing unless she did something about it. Again, my client reiterated that this “influence” would be too difficult, and I told her she didn’t have to because there was another path open to her.

I asked my client, “What does a ballerina do when her act is over?” “She bows out,” she replied. Then I asked her if she felt she had reached the end of her act with him and was ready to bow out. After thinking deeply about it, she asked if she would ever find love again if she took this particular path.

I was happy to tell her that the reading indicated she would find love again. It wouldn’t be with him, but with someone else…something she had never thought about before, but needed to hear.

“What about him?” she asked. “Will he be okay, too?” I could see that the woman had a sense of loyalty to her partner even though she had endured years of a controlling relationship with him.

I asked spirit for clarity and was happy to foresee that, if she left him, he would find love and learn an important lesson about balance and not control in a relationship.

At this stage in the reading, my client asked, “What’s the lesson for me?”

I explained that she needed to learn to love herself, put herself first occasionally, and have the strength to set boundaries or walk away. I told her that she was the mapmaker of her own destiny, not her partner or anyone else.

My client was now empowered but still undecided. “With all these paths and ‘eventualities’ to consider, I don’t know which path to take,” she added. I asked her which path her intuition was advising her to take. She responded almost immediately, “The Ballerina Path.”

I told her that the spirits were guiding her toward this path because it was best for her future and emotional well-being. As a psychic and spiritual life coach, I must prioritize my clients’ emotional well-being. something this woman has not done for herself in years!

We ended the session with her feeling empowered and with a newfound sense of direction. Both were needed.

I later learned that she did leave him. Although he tried to convince her not to leave, once she left his life and the negativity behind, she found a new sense of energy and resilience. She is now in a far healthier relationship with a new man and could not be happier.

The moral of the story?

Readings don’t necessarily show exactly what will happen in the future, but they show what’s possible and what’s not. In many instances, what happens is what you allow to happen. How empowering is that?
