Can Loved Ones Warn Us Of An Early Departure?

Get a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comMany people believe that we come onto the planet at a particular time and arrive at a particular place of our own choosing.  There are diverse theories as to the accuracy of this idea, but let us pretend for a minute that it is a spiritual truth. Would it not then follow that we also choose when we will leave this earthly plane and where we will leave it from?

If this is the case, would we not also know when we are preparing to leave? Do we know before our own moment arrives? We may have a loved one be away on a trip when a fatal accident occurs. That would certainly prevent us from having the opportunity of saying our final goodbye. Others might have a long lingering illness before finally succumbing, but at least those remaining behind could endeavor to prepare for the grieving process that inevitably will ensue.

No one knows at what turning point in fate one’s fateful hour will come… Nevertheless, there are some people on earth who can see this moment coming. Mystical and unfathomable intuition is what allows people to find the key to this impenetrable secret ~ Svetlana Kuzina

I firmly believe that some people have the intuitive ability to know that their time is near and perhaps some of those folks will try and let their loved ones know they can no longer remain here. I certainly know of one person in particular who did just that.

I come from a very large family and even though we are exceptionally close we do accept there are those family members that have a different quality than the rest. Most of my siblings, as well as myself, are somewhat ‘rough edged’ and admittedly inherited a toughness, bluntness and lack of poise that we have been desperately trying to correct over the years.

We did have one exception, however, and that was our beloved brother, Venard. He was the first born child of my mother and father as a couple. They had other children before him, but an older  brother and sister came from a different mother, and another sister had a different father.

Venard was soft and gentle and that alone made him stand out. He was kind, sweet and one of the most gentle people I have ever known. He could not tolerate harshness or stern chastising of any kind. We used to say he would cry if you looked at him crossways, and frequently he did cry. That boy was a very sensitive soul.

Our thin-skinned brother also had unusual gifts. He would hold out his hands and the birds would just land on them, appearing to feel completely safe and secure. Our neighbors always likened him to having the quality of a “lamb.”

Venard had a best friend named Maurice and because we lived a very impoverished and rural life, like most who lived in the area, we were obligated to create our own fun and entertainment. But that was never looked on as a hardship. We all loved playing in the woods, climbing tress and inventing an assortment of games where each child regardless of age was always included. Not very far from the house we lived, there was also a small pond and as it typically is the case with children, we were often drawn to the water.

Factual information alone isn’t sufficient to guide you through life’s labyrinthine tests.  You need and deserve regular deliveries of uncanny revelation ~ Rob Brezsny

One day, Venard and Maurice had managed to gather enough wood to make themselves a boat. My mother was not pleased about this. She had uncanny psychic gifts, and an eerie way of knowing things, and something told her to get the neighbor to destroy that makeshift boat, which he subsequently did. However, the boys were undaunted and managed to make another one, which my mother then also had destroyed.

Finally, Venard and Maurice were successful and completed their project of building a glorious boat. At the time my mother was away at work and the two boys managed to get it out of the yard and down to the pond without her knowing about it. My brother Roger, who is younger than Venard, was also with them. He had planned to go out in the boat with them. However, being a considerate and diligent older brother, Venard refused to take him along and insisted he stay behind. He promised Roger that if the boat was truly “seaworthy” they would come back for him.

The pond was not very big, or deep, but unfortunately both boys were wearing long rubber boots, which was the norm at that time. The consensus afterwards was that their boots filled with water, which prevented the boys to come safely to the surface and they ended up drowning on that fateful day.

My other brother, Butch, maintains to this day that Venard was always trying to let us know that he would not stay here on this planet for very long. He was only 12 years old when he died, but his legacy of love is what sustained us for all the years we spent grieving his loss.

It was not until long after his passing that Butch told us why he felt Venard was destined to leave early. We were raised with  a strict religious upbringing and took all religious commitments very seriously. One particular Sunday the three brothers were coming home from church on Palm Sunday, each holding a palm in their hands. Spring does not come early in that part of New Brunswick, so the boys were walking across what they thought was a frozen pond. Butch says he never knew what made him suddenly turn around. All he could see was Venard’s palm protruding through the ice. They immediately hauled him out of the water  and brought him to safety.

Omens are a language, it’s the alphabet we develop to speak to the world’s soul, or the universe’s, or God’s, whatever name you want to give it.  Like an alphabet, it is individual, you only learn it by making mistakes, and that keeps you from globalizing the spiritual quest ~ Paulo Coelho

Incredibly, something similar happened another time also, and interestingly, it was the same pond the second time around! This pattern of Venard repeatedly disappearing into the water must have been a sign that regardless of his love and devotion to us, he just was not going live out his life here with the rest of us. Venard ultimately would leave us early and it would be as a result of that pond.

His bond with us was so strong and powerful that he stayed with the family in spirit for another 30 years. My sister Marie felt this was because he could not possibly leave us until he  could determine that we were finally able to look after ourselves (and maybe be a little more sensitive).

Our family believes that Venard tried time after time to warn us that he had to leave early. I am sure that some who read this have also had a loved one letting them know to the best of their ability that they had to move on to their next destination. If this is you, it is my wish that you have been as fortunate as we were, even in that short space of time that Venard could devote to us. I hope you also had the honor of having such a loving and giving soul donate their time and love to share with you and yours, and that they have left you with that beautiful feeling of love as their final parting gift.
