Color Reading As An Ice-Breaker
In private sittings, I always commence with a short color reading. I ask customers to select four from my collection of 13 small, colored bottles. The placement of the client’s selection in position one, two, three and four each represents a different aspect of their pathway and challenges in life.
Whether the rest of the reading involves the Tarot, throwing the bones, angel cards, or numerology, the synergistic connection with the colors, and the remainder of the reading, is always uncanny. Not to mention that it gives a very ‘colorful’ start to a reading session.
I have a regular client who is a wonderful and highly respected healer. I have always felt that she channels during her healing sessions, as many of the clients she has sent my way praise her for the words of healing and wisdom they received during sessions with her. I feel that she uses subtle ways to incorporate her psychic ability into her work, without ‘spooking’ her clients. There are also a select few with whom she feels, intuitively, that she is able to discuss deeper spiritual, and even past life issues.

She has always enjoyed my color readings, and she also noticed that I use different colored glasses for my own clients, to drink water from. She since had the brilliant idea of insisting that her customers help themselves to a glass of water from a selection of colored glasses, prior to commencing their healing sessions with her.
There is a subliminal method in doing this. She gains a lot of insight from the color glass they choose. Similar to my own reading technique, it gives her that additional sense of ‘where they are at’ in their lives, just from the particular color they choose. What a wonderful idea!
When I first learned about the colors, my mentor at the time also asked me to select some bottles. The first one I chose was the orange bottle. My mentor said that it’s very unusual when the orange is chosen in first position. She said that this can often relate to a past life trauma, or an addiction one has come into this life to deal with, and overcome. Well, she knew nothing about my previous battle with alcohol and was spot on!
Perhaps I died drunk in another life-time and experienced a trauma too? I hope I have sorted that addiction out this lifetime! She further added how my affinity with the turquoise bottle indicated how my former incarnation in the lost city of Atlantis, and the experiences of a spiritual nature from that era, would be of significant meaning in my future.
That was a ‘wow moment’ for me, because not too long prior to that color therapy course, I had experienced two very profound past life recollections of being in Atlantis during two separate hypnotherapy sessions. She also explained how the gold bottle I had chosen in the final position was relevant to how I would teach and channel wisdom from spirit.

We were a group of approximately ten students on the color course. On the final day, we were all gathered to share our thoughts and to ask questions. My teacher looked straight at me and said, “You are going to use this knowledge of the colors much more than you can begin to imagine right now.” How right she was! Within 18 months I had incorporated a synergy of various divination tools in my psychic readings, and one of them was the popular color reading introduction.
Clients love the color introduction, and it is the perfect ice-breaker. People reading with me in person for the first time, sometimes come into the session feeling anxious, but become calm just by being focused on those colored bottles. They often pick a color they don’t particularly like. The reason is usually that there is a special message in that little bottle for them, and it is just what they needed to choose in order for spirit to bring something significant to their awareness.
