Dreams Saved My Family On 9/11
In my younger years I never thought dreams were a part being of psychic, even though my mother and older brother were also gifted.
There were many things my mother would tell me about her dreams and what she thought they meant, but I never really thought that dreams would make a big impact in my life.
But, the more I investigated dreaming I found out some interesting facts.
For as long as we have been able to talk about our dreams, we have been fascinated with them and have strived to understand them. Dream interpretation dates back to 3000-4000 BC; they were documented on clay tablets.
Maybe God uses dreams as a road map to direct us on the road that we are travelling, to help us overcome the fork in the road and the obstacles that we face in life?
One of my most profound dream experiences happened before 9/11. I kept having this dream about an airplane that was full to the maximum. I was on the plane and every time the dream would suddenly stop at a certain point.
Dreams are often most profound when they seem the most crazy – Sigmund Freud
In this dream I would notice the fear on a lady’s face, and the look in her eyes was very disturbing. I could not understand what she was trying to tell me, and then I started to hear screaming. Then I saw a hijacker taking over the plane. But, this was many months before 9/11, and I didn’t understand what the dream meant.
The closer the date came to 9/11, the more my dreams became intense and more violent. I heard a lot of yelling and screaming in these dreams, and then it would always flash back to that lady I saw in the first dream. I could still see she was saying something to me, but her voice was drowned out by the chaos going on around her.
Then these dreams took a really wild turn! For some reason I found my self in Washington DC, and I was pushing my father in a wheelchair. He was telling me we needed to see the new World War II memorial wall they put up in their honor. He also reminded me that we were supposed to meet my stepmother, sister and brother-in-law at the airport, to pick them up from a flight that was supposed to come in from Pittsburg?
I can also remember that in these dreams a plane was going to the White House, or some place, and I realized it was going to crash. I can remember pushing my dad as fast as I can to get us to safety, and far away from where we were.
Well, I then found out that my older brother, my dad, stepmom and my sister were all going to take a trip to Washington DC. I called my dad and begged him not to get on that plane. It got to the point that I had him so mad and frustrated that he had my brother-in-law drive them to DC!
I remember going to work that day, and I remember seeing the first plane hit the World Trade Center. When the second plane hit, my stomach just dropped. Then the plane from Pittsburg went down! My family was not on it.
I believe that God put me on that plane in my dreams to save my family. I had told many people about this story. I feel some believe me, and of course, others think I may be nuts…
The way I look at it – one way, or another, my family was safe.
