Lessons In Love – Part 3
When asked what the best message is that I have ever received from my spirit guides, I had to stop and think, because I am always receiving amazing spiritual messages that make me see things from a completely different perspective.
However, I do feel the most powerful guidance I ever received was on the subject of the fruit of the spirit. Spirit guides want their loved ones to know that in order to live happy, healthy lives we must definitely live with these fruit of the spirit.
The “Fruit of the Holy Spirit” is a biblical concept for the nine attributes of a Christian life, as described by Paul the Apostle in his letter to the Galatians. The fruit of the Spirit are: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

When we strive to live with these spiritual attributes, and incorporate them into our lives each and every day, we become not only happier, but those around us also learn from our example. Being a spiritual role model can be of great service to loved ones who may be lacking in gentleness and kindness, for example, or restraint and self-control. Not everyone will display the same attributes in the same way, or to the same extent, but that is okay. God gave us all free will to make our own choices and decisions.
I find that folks who live with these fruit evident in their lives, tend to have more respect and are more considerate to others. They are usually also people with high morals and values, and they are trusted by their families and friends.
The spirit guide who first brought me this message was a man who actually used to be married to a woman who sat on the phone to gossip and complain all day long. While in this life, he was a workaholic. He couldn’t stand to be home with her. So, he worked and he worked… up until he was 80 years old. He would have worked longer, but his body could no longer keep up the pace.

He said he would have done things differently had he known what he knows now. He would have lived his life with the fruit of the spirit. He felt bad that he had cheated on his wife. When their kids were young, he also lacked self-control and he had anger issues.
When he passed away, he was able to experience every single effect of every thought, word, action and deed. He will have the opportunity to do certain things over, when his soul decides to return to do so, but for now he chooses to remain in the astral realm.
We must constantly strive to honor the fruit of the spirit. It is the only way to live, as it enables our soul evolution and growth to reach its final destination that much sooner.
