Recognizing The Color Of Your Door

click photo to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comSince I was a very young child, I always believed I would become a teacher and held on to that belief until I was somewhere in my late 20s. It came as a complete surprise to me to discover that this was not where my life purpose was heading. It is so easy to see where misinterpretations occur as one tends to look back.

Teachers commonly resonate with the color brown. They are usually, calm, dedicated, certainly prepared for the unexpected, as this is sure to happen occasionally when dealing with children of any age.

Teachers and instructors are most often also the ones who will donate extra time and energy to outside causes and have a general concern for what is happening in their environment. Good teachers usually volunteer to assist with extracurricular activities and do not anticipate a payback relating to their time and energy.

If you can tune into your purpose and really align with it, setting goals so that your vision is an expression of that purpose, then life flows much more easily ~ Jack Canfield

They feel an obligation to keep on an even keel individually, and assist in the motivation of their charges. They can inadvertently take on a role of substitute parent or caregiver, and generally take their responsibilities very seriously.

My two favorite colors growing up were unvaryingly blue and yellow. Blue of course is totally situated within the expressive world. This frequently involves artists, singers, songwriters, musicians, and people who love to talk with wild abandon. Blues enjoy a lot of freedom and do not appreciate being curbed or held back with their endeavors. As a child, I loved to paint, draw and design and would spend endless hours occupied with these projects.

Later on, although I still held on to the blue color, I slowly began to gravitate towards yellow, which remains my ultimate choice even to this day. Yellow resonates with the intuitive world, and the business realm. So, now you can clearly see how this choice of color works perfectly for me in the area I operate in.

Your passion color does not necessarily resonate with what you might do for a living, although if it does you certainly have arrived at a successful conclusion. The best way to go about this is to picture yourself in a hallway. Take your time and do not put any undue stress on yourself with your sense of expectation.

The first thing you will want to see is how many doors are showing themselves to you. There is no set amount that is correct. Supposing you see three doors. Also, let’s pretend for now that the first door you experience is green, the second one is white and the third is red. Now we can analyze how these colored doors will have any bearing on your life.

Green of course resonates in some capacity with the healing world. That could mean anything from being a massage therapist, nurse, reflexologist, or even sometimes just an individual who likes to help others strictly in a volunteer position and from the kindness of their heart.

The heart of human excellence often begins to beat when you discover a pursuit that absorbs you, frees you, challenges you, or gives you a sense of meaning, joy, or passion ~ Terry Orlick

When we couple the above with the next color white, we can now begin to complete this picture. White is a direct route to the spiritual realm, so this might indicate a person operating in the healing field. It could be a spiritual advisor, dream interpreter or just a kind soul who sees to it that the elderly neighbor next door is not left to fend for himself.

If we go even further to encapsulate the entire package, we achieve even more insight as to how our three colored doors connected to us on an individual basis. The color red is unequivocally about passion, excitement and movement. So, let’s say a person works at a healing center where there is a minimal amount of colleagues. Reds love to be part of small groups, they can be the leader, or are also comfortable with being second in command. They love group discussions and frequently enjoy being on committees. They are happy to give input into a given project especially if they can foresee a logical and successful conclusion.

To test how this can actually works, you might want to try this for yourself or, for your added pleasure, encourage someone who knows to do this as well and then you could have a lot of fun putting the color doors together and analyze each other’s input.

Doors of course are open to us at any time. The trick is to recognize the color, interpret what exactly each color means and endeavor to put some plan of action in place. Believe me, the results can be one of the most rewarding spiritual experiences you will ever have.
