Staying Connected To Your Soul Self
Every day, when I wake up, I tell myself, today I will remain positive! I will strive to stay in the light. I will be kind and understanding, and I will endeavor to be non-judgmental and compassionate. Great attitude, good system, excellent way to begin each day. Wouldn’t you agree?
Well, here’s the rub. This ‘system’ might be ideal for us if we did not experience so many negative outside influences! Newspapers, television shows, noisy neighbors, constant traffic, and even loved ones that we share our daily existence, all contribute to challenging our godly cause of keeping our soul connection intact.
I am not an avid TV fan, however, there are some shows that I do enjoy watching. My firm belief is that inspiration can arrive from any imaginable source. For example, I recently happened to catch an episode of a talent show featuring a young man in his early thirties, who is a violin virtuoso. His playing is absolute magic and even if one does not particularly enjoy classical music, you would still have to agree he is simply a genius in his own realm.
Don’t wait for someday to start living because someday may never come. Make the choice right now to be happy and live life to the fullest ~ Robert Tew
That was only part of my extreme impression of this very young soul. The best of his inner self is also exposed for all to see. This fellow radiates light and happiness, not only from his gleeful body language, but from his astounding eyes where the soul clearly defines itself.
The ironic part is that he is on the verge of no longer being able to express himself in this spectacular fashion. He has contracted a peculiar ailment that would no longer allow his agile and sensitive fingers to work and complete the labor of love he is currently so totally immersed in. But he gives no indication whatsoever of being dejected, despairing, or morose. It is abundantly obvious that he has accepted his fate, and has no fear of what would be set out before him. His smile literally lights up not only his face, but his entire being, and I wanted to stay involved in that light and happiness indefinitely – it was that uplifting!
I subsequently took it upon myself to keep this special person in my inner vision for as long as I could possibly hold him. My thoughts continually go to places in my heart, where I can conduct myself in honesty and happiness. I continually remind my body and brain that I am living in a world of supreme bliss and joy.
Living a meaningful life means allowing your actions and how you live your life on a daily basis to define you, not your problems, achievements or material possessions ~ Anne Hartley
My biggest hurdle still is to try and disconnect from any thoughts or desires of judging others and their actions. But I look in my mind’s eye at that young man and try to feel the inner bliss that he so clearly accepts in himself, with no outward fear or trepidation as to what tomorrow might bring.
Why did the Universal Power bring this particular experience of a memorable television broadcast into my realm of existence? There is no doubt in my mind that if this medically challenged young soul can accept his dire fate with openness and joy, it behooves all of us to get our resources together, live in gratitude, and maintain our personal connection to our Soul Self. Every day we need to make a sincere commitment to stay connected in happiness and acceptance.
