What’s Your Number?

Using some of the basic numerology information derived from a person’s name and date of birth, can add extra dimension to a psychic reading. Numerology can reveal some interesting additional information.

The principles of Numerology are used in Tarot, Astrology, the Kabbalah and esoteric Judaism, among other metaphysical disciplines.

From your date of birth and name, your life purpose, potential, and personality can be ascertained, as well as some additional fine detail.

Each letter of your name corresponds to a number. Each number represents certain qualities.

1 – New beginnings, assertiveness, leadership, individuality.  Negative: Stubbornness, bullying, deep seated inferiority complex.

2 – Balance, receptivity, adaptability, union. Negative: Indifference, overly-sensitive, self-effacing.

3 – Creativity, expression, sociability, expansion. Negative: Misusing creative skills to gossip, worry, criticize or be frivolous.

4 – Discipline, form, practicality, stability. Negative: Being rigid, narrow-minded, repressed, feeling limited.

5 – Freedom, activity, movement, change. Negative: People who over-indulge, are irresponsible, erratic, or procrastinate.

6 – Harmony, beauty, comfort, affection. Negative: Critical, fussy, badly adjusted, a busy-body.

7 – Wisdom, mysticism, solitude, introspection. Negative: Deceitful, nervous, enjoy finding fault, self-centered, introspected.

8 – Money, business, pragmatism, recognition. Negative: Demands everything for themselves, wastes energy.

9 – Compassion, spirituality, endings, service. Negative: A dreamer, impractical.

11 – Ideals, innovation, community, humanitarian. Negative: Lives in a world of illusion.

22 – Success, knowledge, power, authority. Negative: Dictatorial, overbearing, insensitive.

Method

Assign a number to each letter of your name. Then, add the numbers together. The total is likely to be a double-digit number. If so, add the numbers together until you get a single-digit number. Note: 11 and 22 are generally left intact.

– The sum total of the numbers that correspond to the vowels in your name describe your inner nature.

– The sum total of the numbers that correspond to the consonants in your name describe your outer persona and how others see you.

– The sum total of all of the numbers in your name reveals your life path, or destiny.

For additional information about what lessons you are learning in this lifetime, add together all the corresponding numbers of your birth date. In other words, add the day, month and year of your birth and reduce them to a single digit.

Numerology goes much deeper of course, but so much insight can be accessed just from your name and date of birth! For example, my date of birth reduces to a number 9, very much in line with my life’s lessons.
