Our Past Lives, Ourselves
In tandem with the concept of free will there is the idea of past lives and how they intertwine with karma. In Sanskrit, the word karma means “action.” Every one of our actions has a meaning which ripples through our very fabric.
Some of us may know about one or more of our past life already. Others may have only experienced bits and pieces: images seen in a dream, or inexplicable patterns that emerge in our lives. We may wonder why we always seem to be unlucky in love or needing a challenge at work. Every lifetime we get is the universe trying to teach us. What we perceive as hardship or bad luck is really a learning opportunity!
Discovering these patterns can be surprisingly easy. Start meditating and keeping two journals: one for waking and one for dreams. Are you noticing certain colors, smells, sounds? Love Cord Connections Last An Eternity
When we truly love someone, we are eternally connected to that person – throughout all of our lifetimes. That love cord is never severed. No one, or nothing, not even the Archangel Michael can sever this cord with his sword.
It is true that love is the most powerful force and it is my belief that God is love. We get to bask in this blissful feeling in its entirety, which is much too much for our earthly minds to even comprehend. I do know that we get to taste a bit of it through the feelings we experience when we deeply love another person. It is our ‘taste of heaven’ here on earth and we can enhance the feeling through gratitude for that person that is in our lives. Why You Should Keep A Dream Journal – Part One
It is so important to keep a dream journal! Some people truly believe that our dreams are nothing more than things we have experienced throughout are day, or just mental wanderings. But dreams are much more than all of that.
In my professional experience dreams are an in-between state between the material realm and the spiritual realm – be it heaven or the other side. It is a place where we can get connected with truth and the light to keep our souls in alignment.
I believe we would all go insane to one degree or another if we didn’t dream or astral travel for a long period of time. That could be why people who don’t get enough sleep sometimes seem so disconnected from that divine spark inside of them. They also get depressed, stressed and their health suffers. Continue reading
Breaking The Painful Ties That Bind Us
With any kind of relationship, romantic or platonic, good or bad, comes a metaphysical cord of attachment which feeds energy from one person to another, in what can be likened to surgical tubing.
When we’ve had relationships with people, these cords extend from our chakras or energy centers to those of the other person. So, you can imagine the amount of emotions we can take on from someone else – more often than not ‘fear-based’ emotions. That fear can show itself as fear of abandonment, unforgiveness, co-dependency, or any other negative emotion.
Years ago, I remember reading a newspaper article shortly after the son of Dean Martin had been killed in an air crash. The famous singer said it felt like his heart was being ripped out – so real are these cords that bind us.
