The recent gruesome death of Ingrid Lyne in Seattle has attracted much attention from single women and generated renewed awareness of the potential risks of online dating. However, I still think online dating is one of the best ways to meet someone special, especially for those people whose circumstances do not allow them to interact with other single people on a daily basis.
According to the Pew Research Center around 5% of Americans who are in a marriage or committed relationship say they met their significant other online. A study by the National Academy of Sciences found that more than one third of marriages in the USA begin with online dating, and those couples seem to be slightly happier than couples who meet through other means. The glyph for those born under a Gemini Sun, between May 21 and June 21, is the Roman numeral for the number 2. The Twins. The Divine Grace Of A Soulmate Connection
It is a myth that everyone is supposed to meet a ‘soulmate’ in this lifetime. Don’t get me wrong, soulmate connections do exist, but this phenomenon is quite rare. It is a singular spiritual anomaly that is certainly not predestined for most of us.
In a world where intimate relationships have become extremely challenging to navigate, the search for the ever-elusive soulmate has become a contemporary obsession. We have co-created a modern society where detachment, loneliness and disconnection reigns supreme, despite our easy access to social media and communication technology. Against this background, the manic hunt for the ‘love of our life’ has become one of our generation’s most profoundly tragic acts of free will.
In my view, the most disturbing aspect of this ‘wild goose chase’ is the fact that it is so often encouraged, or even set into motion, by well-meaning psychic readers and relationship coaches! A Red Rose From The Other Side
A dear client has been having wonderful dreams for many months now of her husband who died in an automobile accident. He was working nights, and on his way home early in the morning hours he fell asleep at the wheel. His car missed the curve and smashed into a tree. He had probably been there for several hours, before day light and someone found him. When emergency medical arrived they concluded that he had died instantly, on impact.
Four days after he passed they would have celebrated her 53rd birthday and they were planning a trip to Florida in the fall, as they both had been working very hard and needed vacation. She always received roses from him on Valentine’s Day, as well as on their Anniversary and special holidays. Sometimes he simply gave her roses just to say, “I love you.” Continue reading
Don’t Panic, It May Be A Spiritual Intervention!
From the very start of my spiritual career, my guides taught me that in life we are given three things: opportunity, choice and free will. Simply put, when we make our choice from the options put to us, we exercise our right to free will and determine our futures, largely, ourselves.
While for most of us this is quite an empowering thought, there are times in our lives when spirit feels that we are very much on the wrong path and therefore will actually change our circumstances for us. I have been teaching White Tantric Yoga for 15 years. It is based on the Kama Sutra, or the Kama Sutra is based on White Tantric Yoga.
